1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Pretty much. The model was hot, the kimono was boss, eazy has the skills, and that blue cardigan a couple pages back was awesome.

I think there's a reason Cara Delevingne (et al) has a job as a model. Too bad she's an ignorant Limey waif who doesn't realize she's being taken advantage of; objectified, dissected and commented on by lecherous men and boys, and paid less than minimum wage.. For shame. As a result of this awakening, I resolve to never again buy anything from the houses she models for, which include: Burberry, Mulberry, Moschino, Marc Jacobs, Versace, D&G, Etro, Valentino, Chanel, Fendi, Tom Ford, Lanvin, Balmain, YSL, Emilio Pucci, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Dsquared2, ..., or eazy's houze of kimonoze. Because - you know - they use good-looking women to model their clothes, and I'd rather see how it looks on Betty White or Abe Vigoda.
Now I gotta go to WalMart to buy new clothes for vacation.

    I just had your baby.

Yamato, unfortunately, isn't Yamamoto (I picked one up a while back - also made in Japan - ended up redonating).

Went to Philly for the weekend. Pickins are slim down there especially following the collapse of the building that housed the SA on Market last year. A few finds tho

Only true thrift. Polo made in Italy navy cord SC, dual vent triple patch 3 button. 40R

One of my perennial fav finds. This is my third, first two were good for a Benjamin. Size small.

And then this. (Somewhat) underpriced consignment. 56EU

Definitely didn't mean much by it, just pulled a Florian and came off more blunt than I should have. It's the "guy" mentality I have when I speak to a male dominated groups. Woops

More tweed! Polo with ticket pocket and double vent. This time its a 38R and too small for the mannequin.

Well, this was my first GW 50% Holiday trip. We hit 5 stores today. I came back with 18 items. We'll see. Going to the stores late in the day is a good lesson on what not to buy (everything left at that point). At the second to the last stop I was at the checkout doing my final inspection of the clothes when I noticed that the pants on the Hickey-Freeman were frayed. I took them back to the rack. On the way back this was staring me right in the face:

(This tag is throwing me a bit, it almost looks too good)

Now I get to research the heck out of it and figure out all the details. My first vintage big E Levi. [IMG]

The last store we checked out was still bringing out new racks at 5PM. Scored a great Orvis pair of pants from that rack...

    More observation than condemnation.

I was really just poking fun at you.

Me too. It's hard not to laugh at the absurdity of anybody not named Karl Lagerfield being this critical of a supermodel's looks.

Well before I spiral this thread into another debate, here is my favorite find from today.

    Not bad for 5 bucks.
