Picked up a couple ties whilst out with Silverwarebandit. Always a pleasure to hang with a fellow enthusiast in real life and talk shop. Left one is a vintage BB black label, the other two aren't noteworthy except I liked the patterns and they both have a nice hand.

My wife and I have a longstanding inside joke about Koalas, so she was tickled when I gave her this.

And I e-thrifted these for her as a Christmas present. They came yesterday and long story short, we ended up getting pretty shitfaced last night and I was so excited about them, I gave them to her a month and a half early. I suck at surprises. On the plus side, Silverwarebandit made me feel better by telling me he has done the same thing before.

Non thrift related question. Does anybody own a MS Surface? I am thinking about trading in my Ipad to get one. I like that it has a usb port and office but, I would be curious to hear the opinion if someone who owns one.
