I actually found that EXACT Zegna tie at a thrift a week or two ago - and passed on a crazy purple/yellow one. Haven't seen any more Hermes since finding 4 in a week a little bit back though - I have that happen a lot, the first time I find something, I find a good bit of it, but then nothing for a really long time >.<

Anyway, nice ties, great price! Sadly I paid triple the price you did [IMG]

    Hi all,
I am searching for a size 42 suit. 36X30 pants. If anyone has a nice one to sell and doesn't want to fool with ebay's fees, PM me please. So if you have bought some stuff up and haven't gotten around to ebaying it, let me know. I am partial to Oxxford...and other hand made suits. Something with functional sleave button holes would be nice.
    Thanks!

Should I consider bidding on this, or is it overpriced?

It would retail for around 600 new. That's quite the bargain if it's your size, and the pattern is a nice one.

BTW, you don't bid on buy it nows. You buy them. The price you see is the price you get.

Oh, I didn't notice it was Buy-it-Now. Quick question... do you think it would be contemporary enough looking for a college student? I notice the lapels look sort of wide.

Those only look wide if you're used to ultra skinny lapels. They're a perfectly normal classic shape. No, it's not contemporary per say, but it will never look dated. Timeless piece.

pretty much what sport coats go for in thrift stores so it sounds like a steal, if the pattern wasn't so aggressive. i'd say pass on it simply because of the pattern
