$60 to $75 is way more reasonable.

Yeah, you're probably right. My problem is for $75 I'd rather just throw them in the rotation. I don't know why $75 doesn't seem worth it but $125 does.

Anyway, hit another one tonight and got 2 canali and 1 lorenzini shirt, unworn and perfect, except for the hole through the yoke where they attached the tag. I even told them how they kinda ruined the shirt, she said they are trained not to put the tag through the shirt like that. I went and looked and every shirt was tagged the same way LOL.

Fred Perry is promising. Other stuff is mostly cheap licensed goods. Balmain from the boutique line is good, but rare, and styled for the early 80s. Overall, pass.

Absolutely, but why is she only buying thrift for me is another question? [IMG]

Good point. Better start checking your Visa balance for transactions at Barney's and Neiman's [IMG]

I've seen a few like this recently and I've been debating picking one of these up. I think it might work but I'd have to be willing to pony up the money to have the jacket sleeves and pant legs narrowed and the jacket waist supressed. It might be fun but I'm afraid the RLPL look is too new and not widely known enough yet so people will just think I'm wearing my dad's old suit.

Of course, if I wait until the look catches on all of the good suits will be gone from the thrifts and sitting on eBay for $149. [IMG]

Buy the suit, hold off on the alterations until fashionable to do so. [IMG]

On a whim I dropped by a local thrift on the way home, and found a Zegna tie, and my first Hermes! Of course, I also left behind an incredibly ugly Zegna. Both are in pristine condition, and set me back $1 each.

And a couple days ago I found these Allen Edmonds with very little wear. I've almost never been so sad to find a pair of shoes that don't fit me (these are 7.5 D, not even close).
