1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

About a year ago, I bought a dated, vintage Burberry double breasted blazer. I kept relisting it with a $9.99 starting price with no bids. I finally harvested the buttons and they sold for $30+.

This. Working so hard not to PM him right now.

I'm not saying I'm infallible, but I'm pretty sure they're real wood. In a former life, I was a woodworker. They're not ipe or rosewood or anything special, but they feel pretty genuine and solid to me.

    Thanks!

They may do this, but it seems to me the primary purpose of the sale is actually to CLEAR the inventory that's been sitting around. Any additional/re stocking they're doing is just to maximize the profit during the sale event, while butts are in the store. It's the tail, not the dog.

Went to my hometown this weekend for the "Annual Burning of the Christmas Tree Party" that always happens the weekend before the Fourth. Don't ask. Managed to hit up three stores with my mom which had some strange stuff in it.

    New and probably recent Ballys
    [IMG]

    Newish and very blue Ballys.

Wish these fit so badly. Both 11D. Available if you have something awesome in an 8D for me...

    Ties

    Shirts

Technically a cherry pop. Pretty weak though.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Some T-Rex arms here. I guess I can always roll up the sleeves...
    [IMG] [IMG]

    Another cherry pop. Madras.

    Fresh Prince yo.

    Suit

Some deadstock action up in here.

No clue how old this thing is. Includes a book about how Hickey Freeman makes the best suits in the world which I find interesting because the fabric contains about 50% polyester.

Seriously just had my best CM haul ever. I'm obviously not in California... Pulled sport coats and suits in like new and NWT condition. Nothing out of this world, but decent. Also pulled six ties. Thank you Sioux Falls, SD!!

Thanks guys, I picked those up yesterday. I figured with Pride going on I'd have a decent chance on the northside biking through the madness. There was no way in hell anyone in a car was going to be able to get around this weekend.

I know where you live

@eazye despite the value of that tie ($$$!) my favorite part of that haul is the Getz. One of these days I'm going to have to thrift in a larger city, I've never seen decent records here.

Sadly, my honey hole where I was pulling loads of soul and R&B for 25 cents a pop moved, (only a few blocks, but still, it used to be right around the corner). :(
