So i just got a pair of LVC 1966 501's and they fit well everywhere but the waist. Anyone have any experience with how much the waist will stretch on 501s??

Just started working on mine a few days ago, hoping they'll give atleast an inch.

Sanforized should stretch out near an inch.
Thrift fit. 100% thrifted, traded here for thrifted goods, or bought at substantial discount in a discount store.

Note the large/small patterns with a solid tie for focal. And the gray flannel trou.

Posting here as a HUGE SHOUT OUT to MZHams for an AWESOME deal on this Khulman.

Snagged a literally brand new (as in store tags and extra buttons on the plastic tag, rear vent basted shut) J Crew searsuckery cotton blazer that fits great and a vintage Brooks Brothers grenadine in a goldish color.

But more importantly, thrifted myself a pass on the CT bar exam, woot! And got a job offer on Friday, woot woot!

I find a $1000 record for $3.50 and all I get is one reply. Tough audience!

On another totally unrelated note, I'm heading to Denver, CO, in a few weeks and was planning to hit up the Avalance - Hurricanes game. Anyone want to grab a brew before or after, give me a hollar!

Couldn't click through the link, wanted a login. That's so awesome. Will have to check out the band too, I like weirdo stuff. Also you have a PM

GMMcL, that is a great look. Especially the jacket.
Jacket looks more country, and shirt may be a bit too city for it. I dunno...
The maroon tie plays off well for a color, but maybe a tie with a bit more substance or width to keep up with them lapels!

+1
I think pants cuffs are out now though, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure, but maybe the tie should be light blue to bring out the pattern of the jacket. (looks light blue to me).

I'm very jealous! That's seriously a once-in-a-lifetime find right there Are you going to keep or sell? I'd hang onto it if you like the music. I've sold a lot of high $$ records that I now kick myself for doing. I'm a huge psych/prog rock fan so trust me when I say that you have struck gold.

I've been pretty busy this past week. Figure I should probably post my finds before I forget again.
