1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The amount of nice ties posted by both Wes and Wilay is ridiculous. Arnys, NWT Hermes and SIX (did I read that correctly) NWT Charvet being the highlights for me.

6!!! Count em! Could have gotten more but 2 had slight pulls! NWT Hermes was from a store that I wasn't even going to go to that day, but stopped there because I went the wrong way and decided why the heck not.

Yea, the pictures of those fires look terrible...I sure hope we don't have too many California fires this season...

+1. Weirdest luxe I've encountered was probably the 4 button 3pc Canali suit. You just don't see 4 buttons on suits we look for. But shit still looked good.

I saw a pair of shoes I really like today. But I don't know how much life is left in its sole. Should I get it? Here's the picture.[IMG]

Local boys, Tuesday, I was driving on 85 N and saw a SUV was caught on fire on 85 S in San Jose, near Taylor St. exit. The entire car was flamed up and the fire spreed to the near by vegetations. It was the craziest high way fire I've seen. You could see the smoke from a mile away.

Doesn't matter much what they look like. It's all about the feel. Press on various parts of the sole with your thumbs. If they are firm, then the soles are good. If they are spongy, they are about to go. If they are spongy, however, they still may be worth purchasing. If the uppers are in good shape, you like them, and they fit you well, you can always get the soles replaced.

For yourself, sure they are better than most of the other junk.

For the place not to be named? Not really.

10 miles radius....hmm 9 stores, but 7 of them combined would make one crappy Goodwill. The next closest store outside of those is a 45 minute drive. If you want to thrift in this area, you have to be ready to travel.

You are gonna need some extra avgas. [IMG] but my thrifts are like ebay in 3D. all grails, and priced as such. hard to grab a bargain.

get good deals on Avirex though. like that stuff.[IMG]

    Edit: will travel for tweed.
