1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thank you gentlemen! It was fun to make, but a hell of a lot of work. I spent 9 hours just on hand stitching the trim.

That's pretty sweet, and came out wonderfully! Dig the choice of fabrics and that you opted to trim the lower hem - that must have taken forever. Good work, son!

Very good for yourself because the quality is there. However, if it has the word Milano under the Canali, I would check for the button stances, lapel widths, gorge, vents, fabric contents, etc. to make sure you aren't purchasing something incredibly dated that you will only forget about in the back of your closet with the dry cleaning tags on.

    Awesome!

Also got some non CM stuff like sneakers and NWT WESC jeans.

Anyone happen to recognize this makers label? There aren't any other tags on it except for the tailor's.[IMG]

This is one of those situations where I want to thumb, but I'm afraid it connotes entirely the wrong emotion, plus it fails to capture the emotional complexity of the situation.
So instead, I will quote Lazlo Hollyfeld: I'm happy and sad for you.

My story is where I thought this was going. I haven't been out -- really hitting the stores hard -- in weeks. Mostly busy at work, but also trying to get my hauls from the last couple of weeks listed.
In any event, I found myself with 10 extra minutes and a tenner in my pocket passing by my "local". So I stopped in, and found most of the same dreck except for a J Press heraldic, two NYSE heraldics, and a couple ties that might be good as freebies. So as I get to the counter, a lady came from the back and said: Oh, I see you like ties. Here are a few I was just about to put out.
Charvet, Zegna, Etro, HF hand made, Faconnable wild paisley that I initially thought was one of those Zegna cinquatera or whatever it's called.

I got dagger eyes across the room from a guy who I think may have been shopping to flip (like me, I guess).

Good news for him: I couldn't get them all, since I only had a tenner.
    :fu:

    Edit:
I know, I know: pics of GTFO. Loading pics of these and some other ties I've found recently, so hold your horses.

The weirdest thing just happened to me....
Was it a dream where you were standing in sort of Sun God robes on top of a pyramid and there were hundreds of naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?
    No.
Why am I the only one that has that dream?
