1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ha, I suppose it does. If my memory serves me, he was holding onto the rail by the door. He was a bit shaky on his feet.

    Looking for some expertise.

I thrifted a brand new with tags Brooks Brothers Madison sports coat? Or is it an orphan suit jacket?

It still has the basting on the shoulders and looks like it has surgeon's cuffs but no buttons or button holes. Is this normal? I am not too familiar with Brooks Bros as I live in Canada.

    Sorry for the poor pics.

Brooks Brothers 1818 Madison fit suit coat (orphan). Check the pockets for a packet of buttons...they would have been attached by the tailor after altering if needed.
EDIT to add: you may want to go back and look for the pants.

Around here they are usually waist high, resulting in odd squatting position. Especially awkward at the place where they are right in front of the changing room doors.

If VV is the same as Savers here, there's no production (putting shit out) Sunday and Monday. Get to know your managers, they can really help you out. Also, make business cards so they can call/text/email you with hot tips.

Eek... Get you banned if you get too excited about a tie find...

Thanks Spoo for the confirmation of real gator. [IMG] These are probably the single best item I've ever thrifted. Can I nominate myself for the 'thrift thread cheapies 2014"?

I'm never going to find a Thom browne suit. What do you guys think about raising the hem myself on a grey suit?

Scored a freshly drycleaned Willis & Geiger bush poplin safari shirt today at the same place I got the Filson pants the other day. A smattering of older Orvis shirts in the store as well. Hoping for an elephant gun or pith helmet next time. :slayer:
