1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Just 3 finds today. One may be pre-dibsed, one is now mine, and one is going to the bay of pigs.

Pretty sure this is the first time I've brought home A.P.C. Most likely dibsed.

NSW made in Japan Loopwheeler (at least I think so) hoodie. Slightly snug on me, but will fit perfect soon. Great substantial build quality, I've been wanting something like this but didn't think I'd find a clean one in a thrift.

Best of all, both hoodies were considered sportswear, which is 25% off this week.

A few interesting (to me) things... 3X Tori Richard, Dartmouth College cycling jersey, Adriano Goldschmied jeans, made in USA Grammicci quick dry shorts, 5.10 climbing shoes and another pair (this is the third) of my all-time favorite sandals in my size.

The best thing you can do is go back and read as much of this thread as you can, the information contained within is invaluable.

I've found 3 pairs of Aldens in over two years of doing this. On the plus side, as I was wrapping up a disappointing thriftlenacht (that's made-up bastardized german for thrift night) I found two mint (dare I say NWOT) Luciano Barbera dress shirts. Aaaand the ladies straightening the racks were saying they had gotten so much new menswear in, they were going to have to bring out more racks for it tomorrow. :)

Any chance that Holland & Sherry tux is the same size as that last batch of H&S suits you came across (translation: in my odd measurements)?

PM incoming as soon as I get my kid to sleep. I've got a H&S suit that might be trade worthy.

Enter random consignment like resale store for women.

    Lady: welcome!
Me: hi! Do you have any menswear?
Lady: just a few things over here western wear and boots.
    Me: ok thanks.

Spots this. I like this hanger:

    Crosses fingers:

    Sweet! Why's it so slubby?

Ohhhhhhh. It's even a 6x2. Matching pants too!

They wanted $70 for it. I grudgingly paid it, but left the black 6x1 Zegna soft that was next to it. Hope I didn't screw up on either account.

I was in Indy last night for work and found a "pair" of Aldens. Right was a tassle and the left was full strap. Searched to no avail for the mates. Didn't someone a while back buy a pair of mismatched shoes or just a single shoe? PointDexter, maybe? What ever happened to that guy?
