1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I found a shell Trafalgar about a month ago, but neglected to post it. Unfortunately it wasn't my size, but it did pretty well over there.

Just a few things. All available, PM if interested, but be warned I'm not into trades at this point. Not looking to get rich either, but cost + shipping + a small markup for my time.
Excuse cell pics, not enough light to use the big boy camera.

Dack's, 10D and 9.5E respectively. Hide experts, are these exotics of some stripe?

I always check the racks for records, tapes and CDs, but haven't found anything worth picking up for over a year. Until tonight. Everything except Fats Domino up for grabs with the same stipulations as above.

Any D&B fans, holla at me. Nothing rare, but some good late 90s dancefloor fillers:

I have a copy of Jailbreak already, this is a Canadian press w/ gatefold cover, on Vertigo (http://www.discogs.com/Thin-Lizzy-Jailbreak/release/2817887), if anyone's interested. And if you don't have it, you should be, because Cowboy Song is the single greatest song ever written.

A couple Fats Domino LPs I'm keeping. Related, if anyone has "Fats Domino Live At Montreux" they want to trade or sell, let me know.

Lastly, a couple tapes. A friend of mine does a local music history blog (http://www.calgarycassettes.org/) and is always looking for Calgary stuff he doesn't have, no matter how shitty. And for the Dune fans, a cassette of interviews with Frank Herbert and David Lynch about the film adaptation of Dune.

@ridethecliche : Quiet now, Snoogz's fit was gorgeous! it had Flavor [IMG].- in a way you can't learn from merely following followers.

@eazye : Learn from spoo, he knows what's up.

I'm pretty sure when I unpack the bags from today -- after I ship the dozen or so items I was supposed to ship today and after I close 2 deals, review the midterm papers and return the various phone calls I ignored -- it will end up having been a very good day.

From memory, there is Barbour, Loro Piana that tried to play hide-and-go-seek with me, numerous cashmere, various and sundry Canali, and either croc or gator.

But the sweet siren of sleep beckons, and I have a 7:30AM call....

Uh no one said anything to the contrary. I would have preferred to wear specs with that is all. You lost me at the bit about followers etc.

Though, now I want a seersucker blazer even more!

You inferred that his fit would be improved by wearing a more "approved" shoe.- while not seeing the forest for the trees.

There is a trend, of newer members simply following, as those here earlier must surely be right. And then mimicking their every view.
i know you are trying to emulate and fit in. but please try to recognize when people dress well in the context of their lifestyles. rarely does another have anything to add. Even if chiming in is a popular past time for the guys you want to emulate.
Following others, it never leads to dressing well in context of your own surroundings.

Find your own flavor, f#ck what a clique of back scratchers thinks, And when you understand this, you will see that another man's choice has nothing that you, or I, or anyone could add. -Unless he is unable to make a choice and solicits advise from those wirh simillar taste. As they would be best informed on what looks good in that particular situation.

And no, i'm not picking on you.

Edit: what i mean is, Can't you just say "nice fit"?? it's hard for some.

Yes, when I'm looking for inspiration on how to properly wear an odd vest, I will look to Spoo, and no one else.
