1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

How do you measure the tightness of the weave? Is that something you know based on where it was made or do you have to feel it? Just trying to figure out how it's described.

usually you can see it because the weft will be less visible.

The weft being the 'valley' so to speak, correct?

I find the problem most acute on suits when they "Feather" the item through the shoulder or on ties when they somehow embed the end in the middle of the tie??? confounding.

With those black mother of pearl buttons, would that suggest it is in fact a SC, rather than orphan? (asking as I've got a similar Canali with similar buttons)

precisely. has happened to me on both and the tie issue is what triggered my post. 3 of the ties i bought yesterday had this. of course, if you clip it close enough its basically impossible to tell. but its annoying nonetheless.

It's better than when they just jam it through the whole tie. That's why I would prefer they just throw all of the ties in a big bin and charge a buck or two each.

No, because a fragment gets stuck in the middle of tie that you can't remove without undoing the stitching, fishing it out, then tightening the stitching.

Honestly, I'd wear it as a SC no matter what, I'm not uppity about the button issue. It's not like it is a pinstripe orphan (if it even is an orphan), it's navy. Someone should grab this.

Just to clarify, this isn't my listing nor is it anyone I know. I've just been watching it for a while and finally made the choice that the sleeves won't work for me. I have ape arms. Can someone make a meme of an ape wearing a SC for me to match the T-Rex meme?

Just something to consider if somebody's thinking about buying it. It's LP fabric, but could be a poorly constructed piece.

There was a shooting at my school yesterday
, not even phased though. Our school is known for assaults and robberies. First one to figure it out wins.
