1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Was there someone on this thread that was picking up damaged Harris tweed for projects or something? If so, let me know.

#SNOWPACOLYSPE is over. Time to hit the thrifts.

I found the remains of someone's '80s jazz collection. Awesome -- but I don't really want to know what I missed. Still, all are great pickups, but I'll certainly be back tomorrow to see if more gets put out.

    And this ....

    Fully canvassed; really nice.

When I see "hand tailored" I don't really believe it, but it seems legit.

Needs some work, so I don't know if I'm keeping it our not (especially since my "needs some work" pile is pretty large).

Seriously, this has been the biggest problem for my wife so far. Living in Atlanta, she's glad she's not having a summer baby (our son is due March 30), but it's been coooooooold down here. She went over to pick up her mom's 80s-tastic coat the other day, and that fits, for now.

I realize that may have been taken as insensitive, but she's really been lucky compared to what some of her friends have experienced.

No doubt. Not knowing you (or her) at all, I wouldn't have even posted my comment if I thought there was any chance anyone might take it as anything other than a fatuous joke.

Big shout outs to @Ian Erickson for a trade in which I ended up with an awesome cashmere jacket with horse buttons! I don't normally wear denim shirts under SCs but this was out of the box and I was excited and put it on! Good fit, yes?

 to be fair, he was bogarting the pants section. It rattled my cage though, probably part of his strategy ;).
