Yes. :cloud:

(Nah, kidding. I was super stoked for you. Edit: that was the same store you found those bawler Paul Stuart spectators in wasn't it? You hauled mint out of that store and I found ****. But member how I didn't know what it was until you 'splained it to me? Pretty much been looking to pop that cherry ever since.)

Yea, I think I said, "this is one of those brands that the dudes on SF go balls nuts for, I think". And yes the PS spectators. :slayer: So sad those didn't fit.

Passed on orphans by Paul Stuart, Canali mainline and Tiger Of Sweden (is there an SF opinion of this brand? I know they make nice sweaters and other woolens). Also passed on ties by EZ and Boss that looked fakish.

Was this a worthy pickup?

Tiger of Sweden is quite meh. Sticks to contemporary Scandinavian design, definitely nothing fancy about construction. I've got a suit from them in Wool/poly that I picked up NWT for about 75 bucks, probably a decent value for that money. Retails here in Sweden for like $700 for a suit.

Before I forget, "Remain in Light", by Talking Heads, is one of the best albums ever put out by humans.

Other stuff from today.

Can anyone tell me about this label? Found on a pair of bespoke charcoal gray flannels. Button fly, brace buttons, single pleat.

Two 60s slim lapel tweeds from the same donor. One Deansgate w/ throat latch and one bonkers Brooks Brothers jacket in an amazing fabric. The Deansgate is available. Measurements below. Measures around a 38S.

Chest (armpit to armpit): 19.5
Shoulders (seam to seam): 16
Sleeves (from shoulder seam): 23
Length (from bottom of collar): 28.25

Vintage Abercrombie & Fitch leather bomber jacket.

The only thing I can tell you is that it's German. Köln is the German name for the city of Cologne. Bund (or Bundweite) is the waist measurement. Google turned up a post on a World War forum asking about Carl Weyers (link below). It's possible that it was a tailor that made officer's uniforms in Germany. One thing of interest is that Carl isn't the most common spelling, but rather an older spelling in the German-speaking countries. Most people today spell it Karl. http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=91281

Versace Tags. I've got a bad feeling about this... Edit: for sure the blue labels are fake. As all are from the same donor I suspect they are all fake. They have to be real, they were nearly two bucks a pop!

Yeah, I know....but the "S" don't match. They seem to be a script S rather than a print S. Just thought it was unusual....didn't really think it was fake.

Maybe the label was just misprinted? A mess up on the machine perhaps?
