1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So about 2 weeks ago I decided I would like to get some knit ties... fast forward, as of now I have 18 knit ties (I even gave a few to my brother). I dove in, no half-assing. it was part e-thrift, part true thrift less than $25 total spent for all. some silk and cotton, but mostly wool [IMG]

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would anyone be interested in any of these? I'll spoiler so people who aren't interested don't have to see. I know this isn't the place for them but I'd like to try to give back here.

Got them thrifting and I'd like to pass them on for cost plus estimated shipping. especially to the members of this thread because I watch it religiously. Nothing special but maybe someone wants them.

I can't say that putting kittens in tie baskets is good for ties. My housemate's new kitten just wants to fuck everything up all the time.

Haha. No worries. Maybe something else will pop up sometime and who knows, maybe I'll find something that you like!

(The last blazer is a Topman, and I would have bought it, had the 38 not really been a 34).

^^I like Lorenzini shirts a lot, but the rest (even suits) I've thrown away too much $$$ on. (I don't do eBay, though). :D

Man, tell me what you guys would say to this cobbler. First he sends my shoes five hours away for a special Vibram Christy sole (so rare!), only to bus them back again and build one out of crepe. And then...paint it. I think. Because I requested cream. :fu:

I should have the natural Christy sole by next week, but at this point, nothing would surprise me.

It's bespoke from 1930. But the shoulder measurement just really threw me off.

Yeah, from where I'm looking the stitching doesn't look very quality especially the chain-stitching looks a bit off. But still a very cool find!

    Holy crap!!!
