1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

hi ray, here are the deets...
    Catside posted:

Let's up this game. there are people in need. All donations will go to Americares which has teams on the ground in Philippines. Feel free to match my contribution. You can post additional challenges with your own contribution.
These, remember, are stuff you are looking for anyway.

    First Filson gets 25
First Harris tweed cap gets 25
    First Edward Green gets 25
First labelled as such Crockett Jones gets 25
    First Gloverall gets 25
First Schott leather jacket gets 25.
    First J.Press tweed gets 25.
First Willis and Geiger gets 25
First Turnbull Asser anything gets 25.
    First Barbour jacket gets 25.
    First grenadine tie gets 25.

Just take photo in the store before you buy. Ends December 1. The one who gets most stuff wins and makes the next list. If no one finds any of this stuff, I donate the money anyway in my name and be done with you amateurs . Captain can make a new list then.

Every donation will be submitted in your name to Rayxlui's challenge. You may end up winning a Brioni.

so, umm. what's the deal? [:hide:]
I won a prize that you offered, and then played off, and tried to offer me a trade or sale. not cool.
edit: A month since i asked you "whats the deal?" and no reply, did you offer a scavenger hunt prize or not?

i'm pissed that there is so much scamming and self promoting going on. what happened to everybody helping eachother?

Sorry, redacted. Your post seemed a little crazy like the last time you were drunk poasting. Anyway, don't want to step into this, but maybe take it to PM?

I think you misunderstood everything. I never offered a prize for the scavenger hunt. Maybe you should have read my thing before making any assumptions. I was going to host a raffle for the Philippines, but stuff got in the way. The winner of the scavenger hunt would be entered into the raffle, as the winner would have been making a donation. I've still been meaning to do it, but I have a short attention span.
