There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If they're in good shape, I'd say yes... Especially the Class 5!

...but still nice to grab for one's self. One of my favorite summer shirts is a Coast, made in Italy, sky blue with a white floral print. Pretty obscure brand.

Yes! Both are a good flip at that price still. I was also the one looking for a Class 5 puffer in size L. :)

I guess it would be pretty hard to tell the differnece between fine cashmere and vicuna for someone who never before seen a vicuna (like myself) :p
My bet would be to make an inventory of all companies that ever made vicuna coats and go by the manufacturer as much as possible, if there's absolutely no labeled then i guess there would be a problem.

glad you like it. I'm tempted to take it back to school with me after my college's winter break is over. My brother wouldn't be so fond of the idea... [IMG]

Cool stuff! As Nataku said, that orange is the goods when it comes to vintage outerwear. If the condition is anything close to mint, those are worth a pretty penny.

Hmm hadn't thought about that.. I think before doing ammo bags I'd make a Kiton Coat for my dog though. Getting pretty cold here.

Woodchuck: Congrats on those Kiton pieces! A cashmere coat, a cashmere sportcoat and a staple color suit?! :wow: That cashmere coat is absolutely gorgeous! I certainly hope they're your size. I'd have a hard time parting ways with them if they were my size and I had found them.
Those puffer jackets will do very well once cleaned up. Larger sizes are harder to find. Blue and burnt orange arealso desirable colors. Nice finds! I wouldn't worry about that pile of audio equipment. I see nothing there of any real value. Only two things that I would have even bothered looking at is that turntable on the bottom left (looks like a late 70's Toshiba or JVC) and that tuner on the bottom right which looks like a Kenwood KT-7300 which in working condition is worth around $80.

I seriously love reading your stories about making stuff from stuff people here would kill to find. But I don't like it when you do it with Arc'teryx stuff in my size... [IMG]

Arc'teryx, My wife usually cuts those weatherproof jackets up and makes bibs for the kids. They are really messy eaters. :)

I've actually only thrifted 2 pieces of Arc'teryx in my thrifting life. A long sleeve shirt just a couple weeks ago and fleece in my size

Now I do have other Arc'teryx i have bought new with thrift profits though.

Yeah. It kills me a little bit that a usable Kiton is going to be repurposed for something else. Doing it with jackets with moth holes/rips etc is one thing, but damn that stings... Fucking ouch.
