I agree. I'm pretty hard headed and thick skinned, but I would have left a long time ago if I wasn't. I also got a lot of help from a few people on here who are pretty behind the scenes here and I still pick their brains about stuff from time to time.

I really appreciate all the help from everyone though. It's been a great learning experience and I'm looking forward to learning more!

330CK - I am a long time lurker of the thread and I would be interested in the PRL Flannel pants in size 32! I shall PM you as well, and thanks a lot if this works out!

I hope to begin posting in here but most of my finds aren't nearly as good as the ones I see in here.

I recently found a J Press suit that I picked up for 8 bucks but thats about the best I have done so far other than a few zegna shirts that didn't fit in the sleeves sadly [IMG]

And finally, a decent MC-ish find.

    Thank you for the welcome!

I shall take some photos once I can figure out the best way to do so. I do not have a camera other than my iphone so the quality of the photos will be subpar. I did not pick up the zegna shirts, but I may make a stop back to grab them. I believe they were like 6 bucks a piece, and may be gone now. I picked up a Jil Sander+ blazer as well for 2 bucks, it seems to be in OK condition and fits perfect. I will need to take photos of that as well. I also snagged some PRL wool pants that are nice, 3 pair for 2 bucks a pop. I need to get photos of everything!

I'm interested in the amazing photos that are taken as well, and what cameras people like to use to post their fits and thrift finds. I need to purchase a low-end camera and start taking photos of my finds.

Honestly, depending on your phone it might take suitable pictures if lighting is good. I use DSLR for some of my images but a simple point and shoot digital camera would be fine as well.

What are the PRL trousers? Show us a pic of the label!

    Welcome to the thread!

FYI, these PRL penny's are available. Size 9B. Toebox is way too small for me. I was mistaken when I thought it would work out.

Partially... Most of the fruit came from the lunchroom at my wife's workplace (everything but the kiwi fruit).

Need some guidance on a chipp overcoat and zegna sc (personally think the styling is questionable!). Checked eBay for the chipp but not much to see. What do you guys think? Anyone interested?

Definitely grab the Chipp. I'd pass on the Zegna unless it fits you and you like it. It's older and has little resale value.

I left a Brooks Brothers 50% camel hair 50% wool polo coat behind. It had peak lapels but no breast pocket. The problem was that it had some spots where the material was worn down from moth damage and a few holes. The coat was pristine otherwise. It was still wearable. I'm starting to have regrets. Bad pass?

Moth holes are a no go for me.

I was in a store the other day with a ton of stuff and had to let all of it go because closer examination showed wear marks and moth holes in everything. I was pretty sad to put down the J press blazer and a few other things, but they all had holes. I would buy that for myself if it was in a spot where I wouldn't care about, but honestly there will be more in the future. People are less likely to trade for those or buy them outright, so it depends on what you want out of it.

Was it a jacket/blazer or a winter coat? Have any pictures? Some of that stuff can be 'fused' by a tailor but whether it's worth it or not really depends on what the item is to begin with and how much it costs.
