1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hey everyone! What time do you usually go thrifting? I'm thinking of finding a good time to go, instead of going at 11 in the morning, and 7 at night, just so I make sure I dont miss out ha!

Pretty cool find today. New (with defect) Walter Steiger wholecut shoes.

Faint white marks over both shoes. Hopefully it is possible to clean off.

This is the only tag. There is no size tag or anything else.

To my SS: I got the package, but haven't opened it yet. Can't wait to do so! I wont be able to make a proper post till the weekend due to being on the road for a med school interview, but once I get time I will be sure to do so. Thanks, mang! [IMG]

My package went out a week ago, so hopefully my recipient has received it already or will very soon.

Awesome shoe score for me today - I rarely find my size (13 D) in decent condition and these are mint!!

What's the general consensus on To Boot New York? Passed on a pair the other day, seemed nice enough. Are those a good pickup, at least for personal use? Lovely shoes, by the way. ^^
Edit: looking at completed listings, perhaps I shouldn't have passed...

Great sole on those! I would love to have a commando type sole on a shoe like that.
I have a pair of TBNY. They are perfectly serviceable, and are actually quite comfortable. Thanks again for the package SS! I will post the official thanks in the thread sometime later this week. Happy Holidays!

I usually pass as well, but in this condition and in my size, I couldn't resist. Too bad I found nice suede the same day we got our first snow accumulation [IMG]

I have a pair of chocolate suede shoes by TBNY that I like. I don't think they're worth outlet prices, but thrift price suits me fine.

decent entry level designer type stuff, frans boone carries them so that's a pretty good seal of approval.
