1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

DIBS! I'm a 13D with many C&J lasts and about a 12½ with Aldens barrie, so it sounds like it could be a good fit.

Anyone have a knowledge of vintage Rolexes or know someone on here who does? I know there are watch threads but I thought I would check here first.

In the field right now. 3 PRL ties, from what I've seen they're pretty inconsistent on eBay. Worth the pick up? And a fake? Paul and shark??

Vintage watches in general, yeah, not specifically Rolex though. What did you have in mind?

Don't call spoo "uncle" unless you want this to be like the sw&d Alden thread.

Would normally pass on this, but when it comes to Gucci this is a staple.

I know lanvin ties are good same with suits, but what about lanvin studio suits. Guessing it's a lower tier.

The flipping talk has really gotten out of control in this thread.

The pendulum swings back and forth. We seem to be at one extreme lately. As long as we're still bragging about and posting pictures of finds (LIKE THAT UNFATHOMABLE ROBE), I still have a reason to come here and procrastinate.

I will say, though, that there is an ebay thread, and the "how much can I get for this" talk is at least equally as appropriate over there.

    Just sayin'.

Picked this up at SA, but sadly not at thrift prices. Runs well and already authenticated by a jeweler. Thanks for the help, OliT!
