1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Home for Thanksgiving haul:

Never picked up braces before, but I couldn't pass up BB made in England.

AE Paxtons. DanM if you could use these I think they'd fit you. I feel bad since the last time I had AE loafers you wanted they had a hole on the bottom of them.

Ties: BB, (Good?) Givenchy, Ricci, Zegna (Current label?)

Some Zegna buttons I ripped off of a beat up blazer.

Patagonia Snap T. Didn't plan on keeping this until I tried it on and didn't take it off for two days because it was so comfortable.

Found this same jersey a few months ago. This one is two sizes too large for me though which means I can fit my pads under it and actually play with it on. I'm averaging over a goal per game in my Intramural league with a hockey stick Dolfan954 hooked me up with a few months ago. GMMcL hooked me up with that Luongo jersey that I'm going to give to my brother for Christmas. Shout outs to both of you guys.

Absolutely gorgeous Zegna Su Misura Sportcoat made with Trofeo Cashmere. Only 4 years old.

Had one of those "rare" moments when I popped into an estate sale that was in the final 30 minutes of their 2-day sale.

I check out the closet first and it has a bunch of tuxedos and coats. Good start. First one I saw was Brioni 100% Alpaca. Tried it on. Perfect fit.

Had a bunch of things generically for Mills-Touche, but I ran across a couple of Corneliani's:

Don't often pick up Cerrutti, but this dark red blazer was 100% cashmere...

Black Oxxford blazer with horn buttons:

    Hickey Freeman 100% cashmere:

I was feeling generous, so I even picked up a St. Patrick's Day Blazer from Hickey Freeman with Shamrock buttons that were made in England:

Olympics are coming up, so I snagged a USA Olympic Committee windbreaker (made in China.. only thing in my closet from China is for the USA team in the Olympics).

Never heard of this, but it was the only shirt there. Came from a Vegas gift shop, I guess.

All of those were my size and around $5 each. Score! Wish I had found it on Saturday.. Who knows? Brioni suits?

I did pick up one thing that wasn't my size. Brooks Brothers 1818 Madison light grey flat front slacks 34/32. Don't look to ever have been worn/cleaned. These don't fit the sizes of the other items in his closet, so they must have been a recent purchase after weight loss...

Based on previous posts regarding Ben Silver, I picked up one of these shirts today. 16/34, yellow broadcloth, button down collar, VERY generous cut. And by VERY generous, I mean beer belly coverage. Potentially available, I just don't know what to make of it yet. Get it tailored or let it go to someone who can make it work?

Also, my daughter found a 'Made in Italy' Alpaca woman's overcoat with plenty of handworked pick stitching. The label had been cut out but it's the nicest woman's overcoat I've ever handled. She's stoked! I was so proud.

The only thing wrong with it is a small tear on the pants clasp, which would be covered by a belt. Though, you probably don't wear a Tom Ford with a belt if you paid all that $$ for the fit. Otherwise, this thing is mint! I found it at the grimiest of Goodwills and was there for over 2 weeks based on the tag date.

oh, also - some :spam: for a good cause, if anyone is interested in doing the same or similar to help those in need, let me know.

    ...

I am donating 10% of my final hammer price of my auctions that end on 12/15. These are my auctions that launch live this coming Thursday the 5th.

Ive also put up a banner on the landing page of my website :

Last year I donated almost $2,000 from the same program - would love to beat that this year.
