1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Sorry for sucking up the thread guys. I have some decent stuff to post tomorrow. Here's a teaser of my favorite find this weekend to make up for it:

I grabbed it. Tad higher than standard prices, but that's par for the course here. Pick stitching everywhere, real smoked MOP buttons on the jacket. Suit is in immaculate condition. Tagged EU 48R. I am dearly tempted to harvest the sleeve buttons because I'm literally one short in my quest to swap out some buttons on a navy blazer.... (If anyone wants to send me one lonely smoked MOP sleeve button, I can avoid this travesty.... Just sayin') Here are shots of the haul over the last 2 days. Paul Stuart solid navy flannel, dual vent. Tagged 40 but fits, so keeping. [IMG] PRL USA tweed, 40R [IMG] J Press overcoat, 40R [IMG] Canali FF cords [IMG] Brioni tie [IMG] Mabro [IMG] Check out the buttons and stitching [IMG] Kilgour bespoke (Savile Row; not licensed). Not available. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] Kilgour bespoke (Savile Row). Not available. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] --- Edit:

I picked up a beautiful Mabro suit a few months back, and concluded that I won't be able to flip it for much. If I can ever afford to visit a tailor again (#fuckunemployment), I think I can get it to fit me, though. If not, someday it'll wind up here, offered for trade. I hope I can make it work though. The fabric, handwork and MOP buttons are lovely.

BTW, GMMcL, I found a decent source for new MOP buttons. PM me and I'll dig up the info.

Finished up the weekend adding some nice things for meself (also cleared some old junk out of the closet to fill out a future GW donation). In the end (all for me, n/a)

Ties: Paul Stuart, NWT J Crew, BB Makers, old label BB
SC: Southwick (replacing a couple junky SCs from my closet I never wore, this fits far nicer too)
    Shirts: Paul & Shark, Orvis
    and an unpictured polo.

The only flaw in anything is one cracked button on the Paul & Shark, but I can get that repaired. Excited to finally wear a piece of P&S clothing, felt it once in the field before, such nice fabric. Almost e-thrifted one in the past but waited too long.

Also, passed on a Majer 100% cashmere blue blazer... Because it was pretty worn, including some clearly visible moth wear to the edge of the lapel. Right move, yea? The cashmere was still soft, but your eyes instantly saw the dmg, so I can't imagine it was really flippable/useful.

Nothing grail today but decent quantity. Found this vtg BB pea coat (n/a), and these are my NM last call tie finds for myself…I also found a nice Canali slim fit shirt at the Barney's outlet. I didn't know Canali made a slim fit line.

And if a 42r wants a good deal on a Mabro SC, this looks pretty good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MABRO-85-CA...SA_MC_Blazers_Sport_Coats&hash=item58a6f5a4cb

Dang! Those sound like great prices too!
    Great haul!!
Pretty sure those are meant to be worn with the cuffs folded over.

If it came from one of the stores that I had to skip yesterday because my wife wouldn't keep my kid at home, I might slap a ho.

So.... had some time to kill, got done grocery shopping early, decided to hit a couple stores - really picked over due to sales yesterday, but then... in the midst of a rack of crappy coats... I felt... a really nice zipper.

Yes. Simon Spurr, shearling / black suede cutout leather jacket. Lampo zips, snap front pocket, zip sleeves. So. Freaking. Sick. Looks unworn. Made in Italy. Leather / shearling.

$20 (please note they felt it necessary to write "20" on the label in case anybody tried to switch tags, LOL) - 20% = $16.00

Ermagerd. Why isn't this a small? WHY MUST IT BE A LARGE
