1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

As a long term member, who never started as a noob. i think if you piss of members, they will bite back. what a waste of time. so listen up noobs (and pros): experience is self taught. you will not get the gospel on here.opinions and preferences are many. it creates an open market. only buy what you want to wear to get in the game. then learn. it will take years before you get it right. and many in the " cm approved" threads get it wrong. so get out there, save your dollars for the jaw-dropping items that will surely pop up. and find your flavor. you do not need to seek approval on here. as those judging are usually in no position to do so. when you find something that screams "QUALITY" post it with pride. as obvious quality must be from a good maker. and you will make friends on here who share a similar taste in fashion.

Wow, insane. That guy must be like the bizarro world Spoo. Instead of thrifting he goes around paying 2x retail for everything.

Its not that the stuff is getting grabbed quickly, the stuff around here just sucks. I've been thrifting in Hampton Roads for 3 years and found a total of 3 pairs of shoes worth buying. I can count on one hand how many SF approved brands I have found. 90% of the stuff on the racks is stuff from local defunct menswear shops or just plain garbage.

JFK Chipp tie recently sold at auction.
    Final bid: $7200
I believe buyers still needed to add 20% commission on all winning items.
