1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'll play it safe and halve the years in between that period to come up with a conservative date estimate of 1919.
    Thanks for your help [IMG]

    Yes AndroFan. Thank you.

I have seen the R&G label you showed there and because mine doesn't have the slogan, I wanted to check. on ebay, every one of these is being sold as "R&G Robert Graham".

That's why I had to ask.

Can we still say cherry pop?

    Well, regardless:

Perfect Barbour Border. $20 with tax.

Is it a bit long? Whatever. Is it a bit snug? Whatever.

Thrift Brag. well, not really a brag, but it made me feel good.

Yesterday at lunch I'm at GW, looking to see if anything good has been added since last week. Woman walks to the other side of the rack and after 5 minutes asks me, "how do you find the size of these suits"

I told her to look in the inside pockets as its where they will be if there is one. 2 minutes later, she asked where she would find a size 50R suit with 44 pants. , I told her needle in a hay stack. Lots of stuff from 40 - 48, not so much outside that range.

She then tells me that she's taking a group of teens to Costa Rica next week and the guy who is in country running the mission doesn't have a suit and he asked if she could find one and bring it.

At which point, I said, "You came to the right store.! I happen to have a size 50 Polo Ralph Lauren suit, made in Canada" dark grey pinstripe in my basement right now that I will give you to give to him".

It is my one remaining suit from when I was a size 50. This morning I bundled up the suit, 5 nordstrom house brand dress shirts (size 19 x 34), 5 Nordstrom smart care casual shirts (18.5 x 34), 3 pair of size 44 nordstrom's chinos, a couple of xxl polo shirts and half dozen ties rounded up from the collection, and 2 belts for her to come pick up.

She told me that I was an "answer to her prayers" because she had so much to get done. No one's ever called me that before.......

Helps me get rid of stuff and helps someone who needs it. I like that equation.

Yep. I offered to ship it (slow boat) at my expense, but she said that with all the people going, they'd take an extra bag.

well after two years of searching I finally came across it. Unfortunately the sleeves are about a inch too short and the jacket is a little snug when zipped up. I sill wore it yesterday regardless but I wish the jacket actually fit me because this thing is awesome. Made in England, no size tag but probably close to a medium.
