1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Def some nice grabs in that set, esp if at thrifty prices! You'll prolly get multiple PM's here on that Barbour shirt.

Since leaving Toronto and not having a car, no opportunities to thrift :(

So whilst not tooo brag worthy thought i'd post all the same.

Have been (and still am) looking for a cashmere sportcoat in 38S for a while and after a quick trip to the tailor to make some alterations (if needed) and change the buttons, this could turn out be a steal.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/131041938484

Also not thrifted and not bargain basement, but happy with my tie purchases from a recent trip to Barneys outlet, each were $22 or less (from supposed retail of $150+).

The flower one be had online for the same price I paid ($19)

Okay, here's the shit you actually want to see.

Never before have I bought so many damaged suits / jackets (or been so pleased about it!)

No idea what this is, but it's 99% handmade and quality is outstanding. Buttonholes remind me of the Caraceni a few pages back. Fabric is green, and feels like sort of a schlubby silk. No tags at all. Measures around a 38. Didn't check the pant waist.

Nice finds. Really like that handmade suit.
No chance it would be closer to a 36s?

'Scuse my ignorance, but is Edward Sexton a "thing"? I've had a ES DB sitting around in my wardrobe ever since I lost weight a couple of years ago.

I don't think he's an extremely popular tailor anymore, I believe he had a shop on Savile Row in the 80s and 90s, but all of the cutting work from him (including this suit) has absolutely wonderful shoulder expression.

    I just think it's cool.

Ha, yeah I heard about that but, I think you could name any city and the mayor will check at least 3 things off that list.
