1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

These things often need close examination. One general rule is that if it doesn't feel like luxury, its not luxury. Hardware should be heavy, no discoloration etc. Does it have burberry tags inside?

Some recent finds...sorry about the crappy pics. Been noticing myself with an odd assortment of finds. I guess what I have been reading here has me branching out a little more. Also found really nice Bogner and Descente ski suits that I have yet to photo.

Nothing inside except made in china and a satiny gaberdine lining.

It's about the same weight of a similarly sized dooney bag my wife has. the clasp is heavy metal.

I'm still going with fake, unless I find a similar bag online that is marked the same.

Gotta be a reprint... Too clean/cheap frame/seems way too vibrant. Stoked regardless, framed and ready to go for $8.

EDIT- Adding the obligatory FU DM7.[IMG]

    Re: Burberry bags.

I want to amplify what was said earlier that these luxury bags really have a lot of attention to detail and heavy hardware. I stopped by to look at the Burberry bags at Holt Renfrew (a Canadian national luxury department store) and the quality definitely just jumps out at you. It's a good exercise if you're a thrifter.
