Picked up a couple of summer jackets today - Coppley (NWOT) and Burberry, Ted Baker lavender striped, Ferragamo loafers and Gortz shoes. All heading for the bay.

(Guess who just found picmonkey.com?! Love it!)

A few times on this forum. . .
lol8%5B1%5D.gif

Passed on a goofy pair of orthopedic Aldens this morning that was just listed on the bay.

I've never seen something pop up on ebay, that would be just as funny to me.

My question is why "Old Record Guy" cant just look behind him and buy some new clothes?

Oh record guy

Oh record guy

Why dont you retire that 70's attire?

Oh record guy

Oh record guy

I know what you wear was once "FLY" , but now it looks like you are getting ready to "Die."

Oh "Old Record Guy"

Oh "Old Record Guy"

Look at "Old Tie Guy" and at least buy a new Tie.

Oh old Record Guy...

P.S. I dont know if "Old Record Guy" has made it to Europe yet.

I didn't get that reference...is it a song?

No. the reason I'm such a terrible poker player is I forget my "read" on the player 5 minutes after I get up from the table. I suspect this is the same reason I'm terrible with names.
So I can't remember things I spotted in stores after I've left.

Fair enough, it just turns into a blur of memories of polyester and shattered dreams. I think our shops are small enough that I honestly get to know the stock pretty well after it sits around a few weeks.

then this dual vented gem... a touch of socal in the heartland, not quite cotton dockers, but it put a smile on my face

Question... Have pleated pants gone completely out of style? Yes, yes, I realize "out of style" belies a paranoid, albeit ultimately futile, interest in groupthink. And, yes, the previous sentence is an obvious embarrassment as well. Or should one wear pleated pants now only within certain circumstances? Or, perhaps, one can still wear them authoritatively in every setting? I'm interested in hearing thoughts regarding PLEATS as this will likely influence my personal wardrobe for 2013. (I tend to pass on them all the time, including YAPOPZ* earlier this week.)

*yet another pair of pleated Zanellas

Check out Ethan Desu over at the Armory, dude is one of the most stylish guys out there and wears the **** out of some pleats. Also, clip on suspenders. :nodding:
Mainy, what size is that HF? :hide:

Best I can tell, looks 40's to me and will do quite well even in it's condition.

grendel, sparrow, FaceOfBoh, Klobber, eazye: Appreciate the feedback re pleats.

Such unanimity [is rare and] certainly expands my understanding.

Thanks!

It says they'll still deliver packages on Saturday. I assume that means they'll pick 'em up too, so how does this affect us?
I thought it read that way at first too, but then it says they will deliver to P.O. boxes and the post office will still be open. I'm guessing no delivery/pickup to homes.

I agree with Orgetorix. I think there will still be package delivery everywhere, just not mail, on Saturdays under the new proposal.

Right-o, I think. This will all be cleared up, in theory, at a 10 am announcement. But I also think Congress has a say in this as well.

Ah, ok, I see it now. Was it tough for everyone to grasp, or am I just out of it this morning.

Nonetheless, as far as shipping requirements go for ebay TRS status, no need to ship on Saturday to comply with the 24 hour handling policy. It only applies to Mon-Fri. However, it is always nice to receive a package.

Went out last night and picked up a BB jacket and some ties. The ties are BB maker and one Burrberrys of london... Would anyone know wha kKind of BB jacket this is? I'm thinking 1818, but it could be a different line. I think I'm going to go back and get the older BB maker ties from the 60's/70's also.
