Where are you located ? I've been doing all my shopping lately www.thevolts.com ... sick finds. But I think they only ship to Canadian Customers.

Excuse me, I think you dropped something.

Is this yours?

Is there a point to me bragging after Eddie, GMMcl, etc.? Prolly not, but here goes. Sorry nothing available (most of it already sold), but all represent the first of each brand for me

Loro Piana shirt

Bit of a dry spell for me, only found a few decent things:

Ties:

Psycho Bunny striped repp tie, Z Zegna skinny tie, PRL flannel tie, VV pig tie, Ben Silver regimental, Talbott vintage striped wool tie

The Psycho Bunny and Z Zegna are recent. I don't usually pick up PRL or VV, but the PRL is a made in Italy wool/cashmere blend, and the VV is NWT.

A bag:

Schlesinger leather briefcase--unfortunately, this had the prior owner's name in gold leaf on the other side of the bag. I got the gold leaf lettering out, but the embossing is still visible from close distance, and there's a visible water spot where the name used to be (also a water spot at the bottom).

Vintage North Face made in USA blue Gore-Tex parka with detachable hood (size XL, available):

Some accessories for myself:

Sterling silver cufflinks made for a local jeweler and a pair of Brooks Brothers braces.

Some stuff. Way too little for as many stores as I went to today. Thrifting sick is going to catch up with me.

Regular Ralf Dry Selvage 32/34

These fit and are basically unworn, so I may get them hemmed, removing the boot cut at the same time.

Finally! 15 R.

60s Norman Hilton. Amazing jacket with MOP buttons. I'm pretty sure it's cashmere. 39 R.
There was another one, that was a little less nice, but still felt like cashmere, that had a dime-sized moth hole on the back of one of the arms.

Recent J Press navy blazer, 43 R. Missing the top button, but I bought it for next to nothing.

And which one of you lives in Atlanta and was focusing on ties this morning? Somebody was following me.

^^+1 on Saint Andrews - nice! Okay, so this was from my one store yesterday. Definitely quality over quantity, but I'm pretty happy with it. All about 21.5 p2p w/ 23 sleeves :)facepalm: ) and (other than the Belvest) unvented.
Belvest Velvet Blazer (N/A)
Brioni #1 (Available)
Brioni #2 (Available)
Kiton #1 (N/A)
Kiton #2 (N/A)
Kiton #3 (Definitely my favorite - N/A)

Unfortunately, I need to sell the Kitons in order to finance an upcoming trip, but if anyone is really interested and wants to pay slightly less than Ebay prices, I would be happy to sell here. Sorry for such blatant spamming.
Yet another amazing haul! :worship: Looks like I was in LA at the wrong time!
Thanks Nataku for the amazing Mountain Hardwear down jacket!!

I did this. Hopefully you have a good tailor who will understand when you ask them to taper the legs from the INSEAM, NOT THE OUTSEAM so you don't lose the selvedge. Mine did an amazing job and they look perfect, but my tailor is awesome and she understood what I was talking about and why, whereas the assistant I started out talking to was confused.

Same that Varvatos mainlane uses--heard it's Lardini

Sorry to bump this, but it was one of my last posts as a newbie.  Ended up showing up about 5 pages into the history almost a day later. :)

Anyone recognize the maker of this tag ? Made in Italy for Brooks Brothers.
Thanks!

Something odd happened today...I was waiting on the tram when a guy walked by wearing a jacket that I recognized from one of the thrifts. Of course, he could have purchased the same jacket when they came out, but I doubt it. It was incredibly distinct and from the early '90s for sure.

Has that happened to anyone else? Recognizing someone else's purchase from a thrift store??
