1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Had a nice haul last weekend. Every single thing I found fit me perfectly and filled some kind of hole in my wardrobe. Except the jacket, too snug but I couldn't leave it. And the Ivory Incotex Inside pants (hopelessly small).

Don't know the brand, Andrew Carrington, from House of Carrington, but it is Made in Italy, 3 roll 2, has ticket pockets, beautiful fabric, dual vented, etc. 42 R.

Ivory, incotex inside. Rugged chinos. The fabric has a suede-like feel to it. Twill. 32x34.

    AE Walton.

Zanella and Orvis flat fronts + two unnamed light grey and brown flannel flat front pants.

Don't know this brand (and don't care). The fabric is unbelievably soft, and it fits reasonably well.

The Chinese tag one is a different jacket. It is one I had made a couple years, lost weight and donated to a local church thrift. Stumbled across my own m2m in a goodwill in a different town. That's why it was weird.

    Whoops! Misread! [IMG]

Finally took my lazy ass to a thrift store. Got some pretty cool stuff, I guess. Quick question, who makes for Faconnable, made in Italy suits and SCs? I can't think of it on the top of my head. Thanks!

Absolutely, but one of the great things about SF is that people interested in dress well can get advice and feedback from others who are similarly inclined. I don't think there's anything wrong with giving constructive feedback on what doesn't work in a fit.

Something about it is incongruous? Or you just don't like it?

Barney's made in Italy 95/5 wool/cashmere 2-btn unvented SC. Tagged 50 short EU, fits like 50/40 in the shoulders & chest, seems to have normal-ish torso length, T-rex arms though. Available.

Banana Republic made in Italy 3-btn SC. Kind of versatile as it has brown and black in the mix. Fits me but it's available if someone else needs/wants it. Tagged 40R, has enough sleeve for most 40Ls I would think.

So, as I'm measuring these shoes tonight, I noticed that the foot bed is loose. I pull it up to find that the shoes are actually Stuart's Choice, which makes them Grenson Masterpiece....correct? Not sure why the C&J linings were in them....wonder where those shoes are.

I know you kop Pendletons so you are probably familiar, but the flash really washed out the button colors on both of those. In real life they look like little pieces of candy! That lower red/green/brown shirt has a [IMG]1962 care label, so combined with the lack of a woolmark symbol (your previous comment I believe) puts it 1962-64, correct?

    Also standby for PM.

    Yup.
