1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I like winning!
Seriously, not that I did my research, but I thought it would be the most crazy rare thing, probably because it fit, I always think something is 10x better when it fits like it was made for me. Can't believe you found another! Sans-toggles, though... did a quick bay search, nothing comparable toggle wise available.

You have to be able to appeal, I need to remember to take extra photos of everything for just such an emergency, it's bound to happen.

    Good on ya!

    Nice finds!

Just list it. Show a pic.

"sample"? like from the manufacturer? Could this mean it's one of a kind or at least of a very few? If it fit, I may have bid.

Here is the haul from the past week or so. Was able to hit up some new spots on the way home from a conference 2 hrs from where I live. They had some seriously cheap prices compared to local finds.

    Shirts

Anyone ever see a shirt like this. Looks almost like sleep wear. No sleeve buttons, huge regular buttons. Was cheap and from Savile Row so thought it was worth a chance.

    Blazers

CharVal Cashmere/Wool Navy Blazer (may have reached on this one...)

Hickey Freeman red/gray tweed. Thinking this is made from camel/wool/angora based on the lining though.

Peter Millar Funky Wool/linen - wish this fit me to match my peter millar pants. Made in Italy so picked up anyway.

    Austin Reed Tweed
    [IMG]

Lanvin Camel Hair - first camel hair I've bought as all others I've handled have been damaged. Fits me well so N/A. Not sure if this is goof Lanvin, but after slight tailoring I imagine this will find rotation in my den.

NWOT Corneliani Purple/Black houndstooth single button blazer

    Interesting Zegna jacket?

    Shoes (none cleaned yet)

Was worried that after picking up tiny tim shoes I'd have to go to Nordstrom rack and grab some shoe trees for them.

But, double whammy on these. Popped my cherry on shell cordovans (black AE Macneils in need of cleaning and probably recraft soon) and shoe trees came with. Almost worth it for the trees alone.

Vintage Florsheim Imperial black crocodiles. Not sure of the size but guessing around 8.5-9 or so.

    Ties

Cleaned out someones Scottish Wool collection. Tentatively N/A as I have a thing for tweed and scottish wool.

Talbotts and BB are usually all I find
    [IMG]

    But.....
Fendi, Canali, Enrico Isaia (is this a thing?????), Hugo Boss, Armani
    [IMG]

Isaia has a couple spots that are either very light spills or some frays. If this is not a thing I'm taking it to my dry cleaner as it is a very nice tie.

Turns out the 12 hour flight to Colorado is starting out nicely. Was able to convince the lady at the service desk to give me a cheap points upgrade. First time flying business class, wohoo!

On another note: I'd still be interested in meeting up if there's someone hanging out near Denver this week. I'll be at the hockey game on Friday, but travelling sans girlfriend, so all evenings free. First craft beer on me!

Possibly. The GMMcL has launched a scientific investigation into the matter, charting his results on a spreadsheet as we speak. Nothing is conclusive, as far as I know, but I sure would like an update...
