1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks, I thought I had read that Samuelsohn made their canadian lines but when I searched for confirmation, I couldn't find any evidence of that.

I realize that this spans the ebay and the thrifting thread, but I posted here because I was going for rationale in what makes something thrift worthy. Obviously flip price is a factor but I was hoping someone would say "Kop university because its hand sewn by inuit villagers on the north rim of the arctic" or whatever. Just trying to get a better feel for what constitutes quality in a men's garment.

Ha... no. Those are NWOB Sigerson Morrison. Very cool.

And the skull and applause sign are so fucking badass in the office I cant stand it. I mounted the applause sign over the TV. Its so cool.

Far better to put the Applause sign in the office than in the bedroom!

In other news, just got back from the local comic com and saw Ron Perlman from afar and had our picture taken with John Barrowman from Doctor Who and Torchwood. We're thinking of making it our Christmas card photo!

From my first glance/impression, looks to be from the 70's. Prolly mid 70's. Gonna get back on this one.

    Awesome finds, Spoo!

Sadly the Pendleton isn't anything. Maybe $25-$30. That shirt dates from the mid 70's to the mid 80's.

Thanks to you both - too bad about the Pendleton though.

But, Nat, you were spot on about that Bogner from a few weeks ago... thanks again!

Nothing too exciting this week. I found a pair of Allen Edmonds in size 14, so those stayed at VV. But I did find a pair of AE Sanfords today in 9.5,which fit, got them for $5.99.

I had quite the haul a few days ago. I am hoping my finds get me the key card to the thrift executive bathroom. Some of the stuff is available!

First up, Brioni cotton jacket, dual vented, leather button-holes, surgeon cuffs, size medium and it fits me!

Next up, Kiton 5 pocket jeans, no size tag but measures about 18 1/2 across the waist so probably around a 36. Inseam measures a little more than 33". Sadly too big in the waist for me so available.

NWT Loro Piana polo shirt size large. Too big for me so available.

Ralph Lauren Purple Label American flag sweater, Wool and Cashmere. I don't normally like black sweaters but I like this one and am thinking of keeping.

Thom Browne half sleeve shirt, size 4, with MOP, beautifully constructed shirt. A little big on me but still mostly fits. I really can't see me ever wearing this though so possibly, maybe, reluctantly, perhaps available.
