1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Not really. And I'm aware of that strategy and did it, but there are basically 8 or so real biggish firms in the state and I interviewed with effectively all of them. Small firms aren't going to think about hiring before a concrete need and I really don't see how you differentiate amongst them in picking who to effectively cold call (and again I did this to no avail).

Tl;dr - I appreciate the offer and will chat with anyone, but I think it's fair to say I've heard every version of legal career advice there is at this point

I'm heading home tomorrow, so I'll be back to regular posting next week. I'll try to get pictures of my finds, but some of it will be sent out before I get photos.

    Until then, some ties:[IMG]

What a good doggeh! Congrats to Mia on her successful procedure. :slayer:
I have a pair of Durango 10 1/2 E 6" (U.S.) harness boots that I kopped back when I first started looking for something to wear with denim. Very nice condition but could stand a decent polish as I've literally done nothing to them. They were just a bit bolder than what I thought I was looking for at the time and have not really used them. And, yes, that's my thrifted Hartmann ballistic nylon duffle with an emergency fit stashed inside! [IMG] [IMG] Get at me if you're interested. I'm both cheap AND easy! :embar: :nodding:
What's wrong with thrifted swimsuits? This is a trick question, BTW. Possible thread derail in the offing!

I was looking for his post and couldn't find it last night. I had given up until you quoted it.

How did you know that it was a stripper pole? Hell, I might have seen dozens over the years and never realized. Also, how did it go in the checkout line?

Made a quick stop and picked up a made in USA J Crew tweed suit, BB sport coat, made in USA Polo silk braces, and a hand knit irish fishermans sweater with a small stain that I think I get out.

I also feel fairly certain there was another SF member working those racks. Cincinnati thrifters, were any of you at the Goodwill on Markbreit around 9:45 this morning? Dude seemed to know what he was doing.

Tj Maxx and Marshalls were stocked, but too pricey. Anything worth buying here is almost always priced way too high compared to outlet stores. They had lots of rag and bone, rlbl, a charvet tie, dolce & gabbana overcoats, and this, which I've never seen in Florida before:

Halp! I think I might have just bought a navy 1-button Women's Brooks Brothers Peak Lapel Tuxedo. Button is on the wrong side and the sizing on the jacket and pants is 14. Also the tailoring is a bit funny for a menswear, but it's for a big woman, I can tell you that. Anyway, if anyone has info, I'll take it. Also, if you want to trade, it's available. It's in virtually pristine shape.
