Yeah...there is quite a range with these things. Hard not to skim through eBay listings with rose-tinted glasses and only make note of similar shirts selling for >$100. Thanks for the advice!

You could pick up 1 or 2 to test the waters. Structure your auction or BIN item so you don't lose money. (i.e. no 99 cent starting bid).

Aaaaaannnndddd now we should take this to the ebay thread.

Pure brag here. It's been slow, gotta make that dolla.

Went up to Paso Robles for a wedding. Also managed to hit some of the thrifts while in town. All I got was this little linen guy. Keeping.

Came back down and yeah, it's dry in the shops around town. All I found in the last week or two (all at regular thrift prices):

Really though, think I'm fucked on that little mark below the pocket?.

    Square from some dude.

Went to a new shop, in a part of town that I did not expect to find these.
    Nope.

As far as I can tell, that would be this guy. Crikey. Anyone else thing it's going to be difficult selling a suit shaped to fit him? I know the sleeves are short.

Last but not least, my favorite find. I was at a shop that's been good to me on many occasions, and this was no different. I was about to walk out when I noticed a new rack had come out and I missed it. I saw a few people flip right on past this on their way to some crappy denim on the other end of the rack. For some reason, I took a closer look.

Some serious bone buttons on this thing. Or maybe they're horn.

So often I have no idea who the people are in various posters' avatars that I just had to say how cool it is to see your J.G. from time to time. I can watch that movie over and over.

    Now...

Today, two finds. The hoody was bought to go into one of the emergency clothing kits that I am establishing in each of my cars but due to the size, I might be persuaded to let this go. The boots, I'm still on the fence until I wear them at least once with softer insoles.

Forgive the slouchy pose but I was trying to show the overhang in the back. It is an XL but it fits more like a Large.

This label is on the inner placket near the shirt tail.

These are oddly narrow but roomy in the length for me.

That's a 2 on the left side and a 98 on the right.

Major respect and props to Spoo

This guy just listed over 400 items on this ebay account this week! I struggle with 15!

Seriously, Spoo, you are the quintessential of what a Beast is supposed to be!

I appreciate that very much... lots and lots of sacrifice behind the scenes. You'll read about it in the book one day lol.

PS I saw your question about the DG color code this morning, was it here in this thread? Black is usually 041 or 001, sometimes 008. Brown is 250 but I think that may just be relegated to leather goods not woven garments so could be wrong.

Anytime! Looking forward to your company going public and being worth 100s of millions like that one lady who started consigning (forgot her name).

I wrote my question in the ebay thread and the color was S8051. I assume it means black

    Two label questions:

I snagged this because it fit, was $3, and the tags screamed Brioni at me, but there was no label nor the traditional Brioni lining (with the name all over it). Did ancient Brioni's not do the lining nor the Brioni label? Perhaps this tweed coat just had the lining replaced and they put back the Made in Italy tag?

Also, I passed on this, but I'm thinking it was the good Baracuta, right? Vintage Leather jacket, but made in Korea.
