I had some 30% off coupons that expire today so I hit a few stores over the past few days. Not a major haul compared to what's been posted here but good enough for where I am. All of it is ebay fodder except for this first one.

Harris Tweed in a rusty barleycorn. 36S - available for cost + shipping if one of you smaller guys wants it.

I found a bunch of Harris Tweeds. This first one is really special. My research on the label indicates that it may be from the 1950s. It's a gorgeous piece - my photo doesn't do it justice.

And here's the label. I'd never seen one like it before.

Other HTs I picked up.

First stop yields 7 PS ties and a pair of AE in my size, among a few other items.

Would love some help authenticating from the SW&D-minded homies (Nataku, acosby, et al, I'm looking at you), since I remember someone mentioning that this brand gets faked a lot, though looking through ebay listings it looks like their outerwear stuff doesn't even do that well.

Also 2 ties, both really interesting in their own right.

Looked up this label and the trademark info for "Charvet et Fils" (charvet and sons), and it looks like it was registered from 1956 to 1991, but was used as far back as the 1940s since there are old Charvet bowties from the 40s with this on it. This one doesn't have an "R" for "registered trademark", but I'm not sure if the logo ever did. It's probably older than 1991, but no idea on how to date it. Still very cool, and the oldest Charvet I've seen on this thread.

This one might be a first for the thread - It's a Purdey & Sons tie. They're very similar to Holland & Holland in that they're a very old and storied British gun shop first and foremost, that also does a small amount of menswear stuff, usually with a hunting-type theme. They only seem to have 2 or so ties at any given time on their site. Very cool and unique I thought.

Have more stuff to post but I have to run so I'll do them later.

Anyone familiar with Wesc? I guess they are defunct now. Had seriously thousands of clothes all nwt at my local shop. Picked up about 5-6 selvedge jeans for myself and brother. I had about 15 pairs in my cart before I realized they had hundreds...

Also some ties... Firsts for me. Drakes kiton etc. Will post pics when I get home.

First anyone know what this is? 7 fold and heavy.

The "E.G. Cappelli" label should give you a hint :D They have a good reputation, though I've never seen or touched one myself. Sold at Exquisite Trimmings (I think an SF member runs it, but I can't remember which), which also sells Drake's and Rubinacci.

And is this any good? It was cheap for a jacket so I grabbed it. I don't think this is the one I want but I'm sure it will sell on eBay.

Awesome didn't know if it was a standalone brand or was made by someone else. I knew it was special when I picked it up. Thanks guys.

Stopped by a local consignment shop today, and found this 42R 70% cashmere Isaia sport coat on the clearance rack. Was too large for me, but can kop/trade for something similar in a 40R/L.

Here are the finds from today's quick drop in at my local shop. I guess Nat missed my store lol. Will probably head back and turn the place upside down after these were brought out as I was leaving.
