From what I can see from here, it has besom pockets and outdated styling so by strict SF standards I would say it's a no no for not sportcoatable. Sorry. But if you have the full suit...[IMG]

No tags, but i'm guessing it's an EU 52-54.

Quick question. Do you all ever pick up Boss sportcoats and / or shirts for yourself or flipping? If so, are some of the Boss lines more desirable?

I run across Boss frequently, but always pass.... It sort of fails my test of not thrifting something I wouldn't wear myself.

Thanks..operation pants location will be in full swing at lunch tomorrow. Also interestingly the name on the tag says Steve Cohen. I wonder if it is SAC Steve Cohen? Dated 7/88....how many years until its vintage?

Dude, I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Cohen commissioned that suit. Fiorvanti is a one of the top bespoke houses in New York and I'm pretty sure SAC has a branch there.

I hit my most favorite store today, the Patagonia Outlet...

There were some ridiculously low prices today... Some stuff was at lower than thrift store prices for brand new merchandise (I bought a pair of jeans for myself at $5.40).

    My haul consisted of:

three pairs of pants for my wife
one pair of shorts for her
two pairs of pants (one jean, one hiking) for myself
two pairs of hiking shorts and a pair of running shorts for myself
one R3 HiLoft Fleece for myself
one button up short sleeve shirt for myself

    And for the real booty...

All of this is already up on Ebay (sizes range from Large -XXL)

Six Retro-X Fleece Jackets, Three Snap-T, Two R3 HiLoft Jackets, One R2 Jacket, Two Ultralight Down Shirts

I like Boss I picked up a shirt and suit for myself. just picked up some orange label pants to wear myself too.
    top: black
    then orange
    red is youth line

feel up the shirts sometimes you get one that is a little different, really nice.
the cuts tend to be pretty good whih is why they are good for wearing i think

    edit:
just saw your haul nice one fueco!
everytime i see patagonia it reminds me of you

Stopped by my local discount store for the first time in a long time as I was in the area. Picked up a new wallet for $12.99 that I couldn't resist:

Then I was ambushed by a pack of wild panthers for $2 each. Sock drawer filled!

And staying on topic and since it has been discussed here recently - below are the only socks I have ever picked up/found in a thrift. Found them about a month ago:

I agree about the H. Freeman. I have a couple of pieces that are great, IMO.

I forgot to post pics of this Levi's jacket that I picked up, yesterday. I'm trying to backfill my wardrobe needs for stuff like working outside in colder weather, etc. It has a heavy lining and knit cuffs at the neck, wrists and waist. WTF is tab twill? Anything special? BTW, I really dislike the expanding shoulder vents. I might sew them closed.

The color is way different in the 2 photos, are those the same jackets? Tab twill is generally a heavier version of khaki material, almost like duck or sail cloth (as far as what I have seen).

If it has a 1-800 # or www.levis.com of course you know it is not true vintage. If the jacket in question is missing those, the age can be determined by label, zipper type, etc. Never seen this type Levis jacket before and I have seen quite a few of them

I had to try to adjust the color. The full view is the closest to the actual color. I didn't think it was vintage, just something out of the late '80's or '90's. The 1- 800 tag is visible in the second picture. I bought it to wear while I roll around under the car on cold days. I just didn't want to do that if it turned out to be actually worth something.
