I was telling Silverwarebandit yesterday that I was feeling burnt out from thrifting. Not from lack of finding stuff, I just haven't been feeling it lately. Does this happen to anyone else? That being said, I went out briefly this morning and found a few things.

A pretty fucking amazing vintage PRL full length down filled double breasted trench coat. Missing the neck latch I'm afraid, other than that, pristine with all the bells and whistles.

For myself, I couldn't pass up this vintage HF tweed DB. Large lapels, vented, 6x2, slim fit and cut high with high armholes. Fits like a glove and just in time for those late 80's early 90's patterns to have a resurgence.

And a couple ties, wool, silk and ancient madder. No crazy labels, but these are for personal use, so no matter.

But then you would have to give up those bench presses. :D

Let me know if you list that coat on eBay!! I want it

Also a heads up. If anyone wants a Luciano Barbera by Attolini in Cashmere there's a fair BIN on the bay. I'd buy it but the arms are too short and it's working button holes (approx 52-54EU)

Marked up how much?? I sold a pair of well-used EGs for $180 a couple of months ago.

I recently found this same jacket in a chocolate suede but the belt was nowhere to be found. It's about 2 sizes too big otherwise I'd be suiting up for Safari.

This is pure brag, and not available (it fits). PRL cotton/hemp(!) sport coat with triple pleated (?) flap patch pockets and a weird back (what do you call that?). Also, working buttons on the cuffs.

Found in a town where you would never expect to run across something this cool.

Are you selling? You should probably use words like "Norfolk-inspired". The back is belted, with bellows, just like the pockets.

I'm keeping this, but was just curious what that kind of back was called.

Thanks for the keyword! The first image that came up when I googled "Norfolk-inspired" was Basil Rathbone. Hah.

It was $20. In retrospect, should've copped them for resale because I've had a bunch of members telling me that it should've been an automatic cop despite it not being something I was gonna wear. It probably would not have sold for too much considering the leather was pretty dried out and there were alot of scuffs on the toe box. I'll be on the lookout for items that I could put on ebay for resale and I'll let you gents know when that happens!

Is this also called an "action back" or is that something different/something I made up?

Well, I know there's such a thing called action pleats so action back makes sense to me.

I think those are box pleats and a half-norfolk action-back

    Nice find
