1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Fishy went thrifting. The only thing that I found today was a Thomas Pink tie, which I believe is a grenadine. I'm wearing it in my first thrift fit ever!

Not quite as nice as what a lot of you guys can pull off, but my odd frame makes it extremely difficult to get stuff that doesn't look like a sack on me. Everything thrifted but the socks.

    What I'm wearing:

Tom James linen jacket, just been through round 1 with the tailor. Only find ever with shoulders that fit! Plus baller buttons and surgeon cuffs.
J crew shirt and pants. pants are linen/cotton blend
    Seiko 7A28-7049 (Also thrifted)
    Santoni semi brogues
    Thomas Pink purple grenadine tie
    Unknown brand hand rolled PS
    Dapper Classics navy pindot socks

Strange SS shirt with mixed fabrics. From some random unknown Japanese (?) company. Thought it was stupid enough to wear.

Was looking for a polo and saw this. Thought of SF. Does anyone know when this tag is from?

Speaking of doing something before it was cool, I realized recently that I now frequent several stores where mom bought the blazers and shoes I wore as a kid (because when something fits for literally 1 week, why would you buy retail).

It seems to have slipped out of the thread, but does anyone know what happened to the scavenger hunt??? Wasn't someone ::Cough::SPOO::Cough:: going to create a separate thread on this?

1st RULE: You do not talk about Scavenger Hunt (With Shoeluv).

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about Scavenger Hunt (With Shoeluv).
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out they are a sissy only Spoo says stop.
4th RULE: Only two guys one guy to a fight thrift store.
5th RULE: One fight item in the picture at a time.
6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes unless Brioni or Shell.
7th RULE: Fights Hunt will go on as long as Spoo says.
8th RULE: If this is your first Scavenger Hunt, you HAVE to thrift a bright pastel tuxedo shirt and take a picture of yourself in the middle of the store wearing it.

I may have made #8 up

Ok, here you go. Everyone knows this was not "thrifted". But I'm still bragging.

It's been dry around my parts lately. Orphan jackets seem to be multiplying, though. [IMG]

    Everything available.

Holy crap Wes, what a shoe haul.

Awww Yisssss. After not finding anything for ages I found some good stuff today. A separate post to follow once I get some photos done. For now can I get some verification help so I can return if need be? I was under the impression that this was the correct Balmain label, yes? (sorry for sideways pic, but you get the idea)

It seems a bit fishy to me. It's on a sport coat that's made in the USA. I thought that the vast majority was made in France/Italy and things like the jeans were made in Japan. If I recall correctly it was the diffusion line, Pierre Balmain, jackets that were made in USA. So is this just a label switch job or does this seem legit? FWIW it doesn't really seem all that well made. It feels like it's fused, although I can never really tell for sure. I haven't handled any Balmain before, but with the price I assume it would be fully canvassed no?

Are you on IG? I like your clothing layouts; reminds me of my homies Steadbrook here in Denver. Also, of course, nice finds on the BoO and RRL.
