1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Good thing I already publicly announced I wouldn't be able to pull it off, and thus have to hold myself to that statement.

Not a joke at all - she has a loyal cult following. I heard about her when a friend of mine put out a book & companion CD titled Songs in the Key of Z - about outsider music.

This looks remarkably like Isaia - what's the consensus?

Daniel Cremieux, made in Italy, Loro Piana Super 160's, and the inside pocket label very closely resembles the one for Isaia in Brianpore's label/maker thread...

    Sweet. From GW no less.

Sweet again! Orphan yes - but solid charcoal gray 2-button; believe it can be worn with contrasting trousers.

There are a couple nice looking suits like this sitting at a thrift I go to, but I never checked the label. They're priced around $40-50 so I didn't bother looking too hard.

$40-50 for a suit at a thrift store? Jeebus. I've been to GW's in southern Tennessee and they price sport coats at $25 no matter what brand, which I thought was very steep for a thrift.
I'd go grab those suits if they're Isaia - I see that one sold on the 'bay for $158. I had another Loro/Cremieux/Italy a couple months ago that I sold, never bothered to double-check the tag. My bad, but now I have Corneliani and Isaia memorized - only 30 or 40 more to go!

That's something I've never been very clear on...what makes this unwearable as an orphan? Color? Cut/style? Something else?

They just had a nice little throwdown over on AA about this......

    http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?130534-Bargain-or-bust

which led to the creation of this thread.....

    http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?131212-The-sport-coat-or-orphan-thread

Solid gray coats, that are not of the camel or cashmere variety just scream orphan to me. Save for possibly just the lightest shade of gray. I have seen men out and about wearing that color as a sportcoat, but to me it just looks like they lost the pants. Having said that if you list it right you will probably get a few bidders on the Isaia part alone. Just don't expect to make a killing.

Hah - good read over on AAAC! Thanks for the links - folks get pretty serious over there.
I have learned that I have to list an orphan suit coat 4 or 5 times before it sells, but mine have eventually (maybe just lucky), and not for a whole lot, so not expecting much on this one either.
Thank you for your insight and reply.
