Here's what you do: 1. Wait until the end of the season. 2. Go to ctshirts.com 3. But a shirt that you like, in your size on clearance. Should be around $25 4. Receive shirt. 5. Pull out brass collar stays. 6. Guard them with your life and use them in all shirts. EDIT: Benefit of my method vs ASW is, with mine, you end up with a shirt, too! Here's how I store mine: I have about 4 or 5 other pairs that don't fit in here, but are being held in reserve for when these bend/fail/get accidentally sent to the cleaners.

Call me a localista, but I'm a big fan of both Frost River and Duluth Pack, both made in Duluth, Minn. Frost River was actually started by a former employee of Duluth Pack.

I own both the Frost River Overland bag and a Duluth Pack traveler's portfolio and both are made amazingly well.

I don't but I'd also ask over on the label thread (though most of the lurkers are here also). Also, it looks like it's going to be freaking awesome!
Thanks, bro!
:inlove: that Pink gingham. Resisting that T&A.

+1, Sucker for gingham and that shade of purple. So pretty.

I've been looking for a purple gingham shirt for ages. So happy this one fell in my lap. Unfortunately I realize when I got home that the collar is kind of shot. Not too bummed though, going to art school means you can get away with wearing damaged clothes without any one judging you.

Nice!! This is their current label.

Awesome! It did look more contemporary than the labels I've seen online.

did not do any thrifting today... til about 8pm, when headed home, got the urge so stopped at one store...

So just a normal Wed/Thurs in thriftville, eh?
I have the itch BAD but I have 150 suits to photograph this weekend, I dont think I can get out and play :(

This might be a stupid question, but have you thought about hiring someone to take photographs for you? Advertise at the local college, pay between $10 to $15 an hour, have them come in one or two days a week to photograph for you? (find someone who will work for clothes?)

Yes, it will make your taxes a little more complicated - but, if you have a great haul while someone else photographs, you will make more than if you yourself do the photographing...

Drunk pics! Today's finds, which when combined with the finds from the entire week, will constitute an actual haul, a word I haven't used since my first post on SF!

43 R vintage Golden Fleece 3-2 (that had been pressed into a 3-1. What!)

Brooks Brothers Lambswool/Cashmere 40 R

My first CHIPP! 42 Long.

That vintage piece from earlier

Ties.

Burberry, cool handsewn Llama tie, wool/mohair knit, Trafalgar

Women's Land's End loden pea coat

BB Flannel. Up for grabs.

Shells.

And my wife actually wanted the Harris Tweed blazer! Score! She thought the Lands End peacoat was cut weird. 1 out of 2 aint bad.

I've been needing some new shirts. I really lucked out today. Everything is my size. To top it off, the cashier gave me 20% off.
