1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

All of the GOT talk has got me all excited. I just finished the latest episode and I'm pretty damn surprised. [IMG]

But at the same time, I'm not all that surprised giving what happened in season 1...I guess, I won't be caught off guard when I read the books. Can't wait for next week's episode!

Oh yeah, also give The Wire a try. That shit is the mad noise!

Shit, since we've been talking about ass kicking tv shows and since we are a MC thread, please check out Boardwalk Empire. All costumes were made by Martin Greenfield, so I've read. [IMG]

Guess this isn't anything special, but anybody know who made it or brand, no other tags

Cheap JL shirt made in Italy that fits and scotch and soda belt

And this is kinda funny. I bought the same t-shirt ages ago and was thinking I should look for it at home - but that I'm pretty sure I ruined it when I once shortened it, took it in and made the neck opening bigger. Two days later I find one that fits

I picked this up at TJ Maxx on clearance...although it tagged 17 which should work for me, it's mega slim. If anyone is interested I'll pass it on for cost/shipping otherwise I'll take it back.

You should try Breaking Bad if you haven't already done so. Also recommend Sherlock, which is a modern version of the Sherlock Holmes stories. Superb.

No worries, I didn't think it was directed at anyone specifically. I'm always up for a trade, although there's not much I need at the moment, but I'm always on the lookout for certain brands of ties in great condition.

What you need to remember about the series - I heard GRRM say this in an interview - is that the stakes are always high and sometimes people lose (i.e. just because someone's a protagonist, doesn't mean they're going to get out of it alive).

As far as period set design and costumes go, Boardwalk Empire is the best. Foyle's War is also good and takes place during the tail end of the second world war in England. Good stuff, if not a little slower paced. Of course, my wife and I cracked out on 15 seasons of Poirot this past winter. :embar: :hide:
