1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

At least in the circles I run in, Prana is well looked upon. It tends to be aimed more upscale, which I think is why it doesn't resell we'll.

My girl is reading the books. She's on book 2. I think season 1 was book 1. So, does that mean season 2 is book 2 and so on? I'm on season 3, episode 8. Currently, hooked on The Wire! DAMN!

Reminds me of something I saw in a flea market bookstall a few weeks back. It was one of those old Gollancz SF hardback books with the yellow jacket. It was by an up-and-coming writer who'd done a few Twilight Zone episodes and had some short stories published. This, his first novel for Gollancz, was signed by the author: one G.R.R. Martin.

They wanted $100 so I had to pass, but I'm sure some real GoT fan would have been thrilled with it.

I don't really know. I'll go months without seeing any, then they'll be at every store I go to for a few weeks. These were from three different stores, two different chains of thrift stores, and all size 40 waist.

So I've been slowly expanding my contacts, and finally made a friend with a picker at my favorite Goodwill store. I told him I'd pay him a fair price upfront for most things, rather than him consigning through others and having to wait for the money. So we meet up today and he had this for me :slayer:

there's a size L Arc'teryx shirt at a Goodwill here that I can proxy. I don't know what it does but it has a zipper pocket and netting on the inside.

I was typing on blackberry. In retrospect I see how it came off as brusque. Wasn't my intent. No offense meant; just thought maybe you were new and puzzled by a "pics or it didn't happen" post, or thought you were being singled out. Nice finds.

No, he posted a picture of a SC he found that I thought was nice.

I read all of these with the Styleforum definition of spoiler in mind and kept thinking: "WFT, if these dudes don't want to have the ending ruined, don't they WANT people to use spoilers?"

    TBen: Nice work.

In Cleveland on a business trip. Prolly no time for meetups, but if anyone is in the area, holla at me and I'll see what I can do.

I need to give Game of Thrones a try. I burned through all of The Walking Dead, Arrested Development, and Louie recently, and my Netflix queue has run dry.

Yeah, Netflix queues... Must watch GOT. But we only have one disc left of House.

At least my streaming queue keeps delivering. Arrested Development is getting good again.
