1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Help request #2 please guys.

Bought this blue gingham 100% cotton tie today. Maker's tag has become detached but I believe it is Italian (it was the laundry instructions, dead smart I am). Can anyone identify the make from the "Lavorazione a mano" tag sewn to the reverse of the blade please? Keeper is in the same gingham

Bollocks to that, I seriously doubt I've ridden a road bike for ten hours in the whole of my 61 years.

That's why I love thrifting: as bodily parts expand, contract, droop, fall off etc. All I have to do is buy another size, I'd never compromise style though

I kinda thought that would be the case. I'll probably take a punt on putting it through the dry cleaner's and see if they can drag it back. Anyway, someone will still buy it, the plisse front suggests a genuine dress (as opposed to business) shirt and who takes their coat off at a formal?

If young guys don't have low-hanging balls, why do they insist on wearing jeans and pants that could comfortably house a pair of bowling balls in a sack?

    Checking in from Napoli!

Great city, we're already planning another trip. Glad we didn't drive here, you couldn't pay me to drive inside the city...just as chaotic as you'd imagine. Clothing has been a blast, but prices are all over the place. I've seen and/or bought nearly every major Italian maker, save for Kiton (still elusive). I managed to pop into a lot of the big stores including Borrelli (really knowledgable and had beautiful stuff from the spring/summer collection, Marinella, Fratelli, etc.

As far as purchases, I've gone a bit crazy. Pictures when I get a chance or when I get back. Definitely some highlights in the mix!

People on the street are mixed. Men 40+ are generally dressed really well, lots of great styling and color. Younger crowd is about the same as everywhere else: anti-establishment/change the world styling.

Guys for proxies: I've picked up limited things for you as I haven't found prices/colors/sizes that fit the criteria. I'll keep looking, but it's been a bit hard to decide what a good deal is for you when I know there is a price conversion and you have a pretty open selection including online ordering.

I've left a lot of things behind simply because I have so much, but I'm still buying. :D

Exactly... To each his own. [IMG]

    On a tangent...

I'm going to be upgrading my phone soon, and have been debating between jumping ship from Apple (I have an iPhone4) and possibly getting a Droid phone. I found this pair of bike shorts at Savers the other day. Should I take it as a sign?

I have never seen even a single piece of bike gear. How in the world do you find so much?

I am a pretty big iPhone fan, but two close friends switched over to the Galaxy S4 and that thing is incredible, especially if you like a bigger screen.

Sounds right... I found two, keeping the one I like better (they're both my size).

Uh, feel free to snap some pics and send them my way. I do better selling bike jerseys than I do off most Robert Grahams.

I was wondering who snagged that. I had PM'd Nat on it too. Looks good dude!

As much as my obsession with Italian tailoring wore off, still got a soft spot for Boglioli. Very jealous!
