1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

There were a couple of other LP's that were from this same guy I think. I'll go back and check tomorrow. If you want these they are yours, I've got too many as it is. I actually picked them up with you in mind. :fonz:

I don't know about you guys, but I don't thrift on Memorial or Labor Day. I don't think the stores in my area hold much back in the weeks leading up to the holidays, and since I and the other locals have long since picked over the good stuff, holidays are a good way to clear out some of the crud so decent stuff can come back in.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps jkidd or highvoltorb had different experiences.

Picked these up today on my way home from work. This particular stop was restocking after yesterday's 50% off "clear out the izod, nautica, and haggar" extravaganza.

Steven Alan pink and white university stripe ocbd (first time I'd ever seen that one, interesting construction) Paul Stuart, Burberry, 3x Chipp/Chippmunk Creations, 6x Brooks Brothers including a couple NWT, no-name shoes of decent construction that I bought just for the shoe trees, and some possibly vintage LL Bean made in Maine boots. Surprisingly, all still 50% off.

I feel like I walked out of the thrifts I visited today with a cross section of REI's inventory... Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Prana, Ex Officio, Hincapie, Canari, Castelli, Arc'teryx and REI... Good stuff, I sure hope my wife likes the MH and Arc'teryx stuff!

Yes, local thrift shop called Talize for the last two and picked the end of a bolt from a place called Neddlework.

Here's my first thrift pic :D

    Thierry Mugler Silk Suit
from Nataku's Grand Haul of the Century.

Might need it taken in around the chest a bit, other than that feels amazing! So many comments at the office today.

I have come to realize that I will probably never understand SW&D... I wonder how much of this stuff slips by me every day

    +1

I get confused as well, do they have a thrift thread over in SW&D?

My aforementioned finds: L to R: Zegna, Zegna, Zegna (there is actually a fourth that was camera shy) -- all recent labels; PRL Made in Italy to RLPL standards and seems NWOT, "Nicky, Milano" 100% cashmere unlined tie -- seemed kinda cool; Duchamp [IMG] [IMG] Givenchy hand-rolled square. Hey, it's linen, which I'm short on, and it was cheap. Now I own it. End of story. [IMG] Skeet, old label, T&A. [IMG] And these. I KNOW one of you skinny mofos are going to take them off my hands. Vintage 100% Indian Madras flat fronts, narrow leg opening and all. 33 x 28, with the ability to let out to maybe 34.5 x 30. [IMG]

Plus there was a no-name silver sharkskin suit to pay a debt to my dry cleaner. Oh, and a Holland & Sherry tie and a Th. Pink tie that I had to leave because this place only took cash and I ran out.
