There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was in D.C. for most of the week visiting my aunt that is in the hospital, so I didnt get to go thrifting as much as I would have liked... but this is what I found

Dope V-cleats in super nice condition (9D)

Rugby rugby with a cool collar
    [IMG]

    Skeet skeet bang bang
    [IMG]

    Marmot for myself
    [IMG]

    Summer pants for myself
    [IMG]

And then this..... Gieves and Hawkes Bespoke blue blazer. SoooooOoooooOo mad its too long for me. Its a odd piece because its made like a American blue blazer (gold buttons) but with British tones; roped shoulders and dual vent.

Untagged (duh) but i would say a 38 with 25ish sleeves. dual vent, functioning cuffs. Sleeve lining needs to be reattached and both sleeves are missing a button, but it only cost me $7.

Thrift synergy! Anyone else thrifting some (non-shell) Florsheim Imperials?

Also, that skeet - for some reason, I recall somebody saying that R&G wasn't actually Robert Graham, but a different label. Is the R&G just an older label, or something different?

First post in here, but just wanted to chime in and congratulate Nataku on his awesome old school Yohji/Comme/Issey haul. Some of those Yohji pieces are serious grails and you have stuff from pretty solid seasons. Shame not a lot of it is size 4 (my typical Yohji size) or I would have hollered via PM, hehe.

If you need any help identifying some pieces - quite a few of them are runway pieces and so easy to tell you what runway look goes with what jacket, but even despite that, we have a product code bible that is a pretty solid reference guide to placing pieces to seasons etc. Feel free to PM me or davidlee388 (who has been collecting Yohji since the 80s) and I am sure you will get some good tips on pricing etc.

You should definitely try some on though. Shame there are no pants included.

This is a great thread by the way :slayer:

I know of a lot of SF members that follow this thread that never post. It's great to see them come out of the woodwork and I'd love to see some of the other lurkers post more! Many of the regulars of this thread don't follow the rest of SF for various reasons, so it would be nice to bridge the gap. :slayer:

    +1

They're like exchange students from a foreign land! SF is so huge and has so many nooks and crannies. Checking out some of the responses to Nat's post has had me clicking links to other threads in SF, and checking out a few tumblrs in the sigs of posters, and they led me to me a couple of really interesting places.

Echoing - congrats Nat, that's serious craziness right there. And certainly couldn't happen to a better guy.

Went out this morning even though I went yesterday. Left a Zanella jacket and some Brooks Brothers shirts (I get so confused with Brooks Brothers shirts, which ones are good and which ones aren't that eventually my eyes go crossed and I give up and put them all back). Picked up items with which I am happy but that I do not think the collective would particularly endorse (a lot of Tommy Bahama silk - shoot me, I like it, and Nat Nast silk/wool (?) blend trousers) so no pictures. Go look at Nat's find again, that's more exciting anyway.

Edit - also passed on a Gucci tie that I was unsure about, and since I don't wear too many ties, don't see enough real/fakes to tell and it was $18, I left it but I did think of you guys. :)

His handle is brokeandbespoke (maybe he spell it differently).
Before I looked at the tags, I thought to myself that those garments look expensive and thick and tough.

Forgot to post this a week or so back. I believe this is the only recent Valentino that has been posted. Surprisingly decent. Very "modern" styling (thin lapels, soft shoulder, FF pants, etc.), thought I'd share since the only Valentino we see is the shite dated stuff.

The lapel button hole's not too impressive :embar:. I don't know how Valentino is so big in women's fashion.

Hmmm, just looked at that on the picture as well. Looked on the actual suit, and it's just a function of a bad picture and a loose thread in a weird position; in person it's nothing more than an incredibly pedestrian machine stitched lapel buttonhole. [IMG].

No worries folks, it will be happening and will be posted. I'm hanging onto about 15 pieces for sure.

I almost did today. Wife and I went out to dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the insane haul I had. I was all ready to go. I had the gray silk stripe Issey jacket (photo below - my favorite piece from this lot) over a black ribbed Issey v-neck t-shirt and slim black cropped Dior pants. She said she wouldn't step out of the house with me dressed like that. :(

Looks like I'll have to rock the fashion-forward and goth ninja steez while she's at work.

PM me if you're interested in something but right now I'm trying to research stuff before anything else really. I have a small idea about some of it, but really I'm pretty lost. Will definitely give a heads up on here when I decide to list them on the bay.

With that logo on your key that's not a terrible problem. :slayer:

+1. Some of these are so amazing. Like others said, works of art.

    :slayer::slayer:

Wow, score on those Mission speakers!

Bandit: That Kiton is  Love the color.

Wow! Thanks for offering to help! PM sent. I love this stuff but have never had the opportunity before this to even see it in person before so I'm pretty lost.
