1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

2500 square feet, plus basement, at 75k. Definitely a fixer upper - needs a lot of updating. We benefitted from terrible pictures on the listing and the owners (children of former resident) being unable to agree on any repairs.

Not a scuderia - all 430s have the badges, scuderias have the stripes and the scuderia badge on the rear segment.

That Hand Tailored is the precursor to BB golden fleece. I don't think M. Greenfield had anything to do with it. They were all fully canvassed, if I remember correctly. Will not flip for much. It's one of those brands that ppl here appreciate though (like me). Oh, Congrats Spoo! :slayer:

Ahh i see. I guess if it was a Scuderia it wouldn't even have a stereo to plug your ipod in to.

Congrats spoo that's a really nice car. My haul for the day has nothing on that car but it's not too bad, except for maybe the blue tie. It felt nice to me so I picked it.

I have to disagree. I have found a few "silver label" suits and they have all sold pretty well. As mentioned, they are usually made my M. Greenfield although others have made them. You can tell by the interior tag just like looking at a Isaia, Brioni, Kiton by the interior tag. It shows who made the suit. When in good shape I always pick these up to flip.

My ebayfu is not so strong. :embar:

I picked a really nice grey hand tailored one a while back . It was in a popular size (38r). Only Eazy messaged me on it. It ended up being too big for him. Man, I wish it fit me. I thought all M. greenfields had his initials inside and this didn't. Ended up going for $50 shipped on the bay :(

Damn Spoo, Congrats!!!!!!! Fucking sick! That really is a lot of hard work and dedication. Good for you. As of today, I'm starting a 1969 Camero SS fund. Hopefully in 5-10 years, I'll get to post some pics. :D

I had a gt-r fund... which turned into a down-payment-on-a-house-fund... which I just ended up using to buy more clothes [IMG]

As I have posted earlier, I am new at all of this and read a little bit than went nuts and bought 4 jackets on eBay. So my latest is a blue blazer, after I bid I found a thread on it and it looks like I should have done some more research. The listing was "Tom James by Oxxford Clothes Men Hand Made Blue Blazer 44 R Functional Buttons" When I searched for this I came across a thread that told me these are owned by the same parent company but have exactly nothing to do with each other. I have paid for the jacket and received it but now feel a little cheated. The sad thing is I probably would have been perfectly happy without the "by Oxxford" portion, but thinking I was getting an insane deal then realizing the deceptive language I feel stupid.

    Here is the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321119812349?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Grand total was $45.50 shipped. I was thinking of leaving a poor rating because the thread I found said it was deceptive to tie the two together.

What do you guys think? Am I just being a little whiny bitch and need to suck it up and do better research next time?

That's not a bad looking blazer. If it fits you nicely, I don't think it's money poorly spent. Do you know if it's made with Holland and Sherry fabric? I had one of those awhile ago and really liked, never quite fit right though and ended up getting rid of it.
