-Klobber, I think you may be a bit mistaken. The white label without Collezioni, is just OLD collezioni. Whoever asked, good pass.
-The vicuna.... I was suuuuuuper disappointed. My friend told me about it, so i literally skipped class and drove to the SA to check it out with him, most definitely NOT vicuna. But FYI there is a brand out of Peru/Ecquador or someshit that is literally called Vicuna... has a pic of the animal and everything. They make Acrylic/wool blankets and ****...
-Will/Barrel bro.... those pants are too long as you stated, but seriously son, plaid on plaid?!?! No waaaaaaaay, ever. The SC is cool, as are the pants, but both should be worn with basic solids. Think navy blazer white shirt. I'd go blue shirt if i were feeling particularly adventurous lol,
-Towers, you sir, are a badass. Offering Kiton, even old kiton, to the thread is awesome, and im sure will be remembered by all, even if it doesn't go to one of us.
-Handers and Eazy, you guys are looking FLYYYYYYYYY. FRESH TO DEATH, what have you. I wish i'd had my camera, I went to the track to see our horse run in OKC, and decided nothing says thoroughbred horse owner like peak lapel DB brioni suit in solid charcoal, with blue white striped contrast RIcci shirt, and a much larger striped blue/silder vtg BB makers tie.

Very cool man! Not expert on material/weaves by any means (at least not yet) but im gonna say the material on this sweet vest looks like Whipcord.
I had a pair of Filson Whipcord trousers and they looks just like that.
Anyone else wanna chime in?

heard NY got hit hard. Hope spoo and all the other NYers are alright.

Checking in from ct. Expect to be without power for well more than a week. Next week's auctions should be fun and interesting. Sorry to all the peeps that I owe pms or shipments.
I'm most worried about Brianpore. South Jerz got hit pretty hard.

fairly dated Cerruti
.

Uh, I pass on Cerruti all the time. Am I missing something?

JPMorris - saw that White label recently in a department store - pretty sure it is an entirely new label. Price wise between black label and Collezioni hence my assumption it was a middle label.

I would not be surprised if it was the sequel to Georgio Armani Le Collezioni with Armani Collezioni something different and unrelated.

a/x i thought was, collezioni def used to be licensed not sure now, armani has not been relevant for over 10 years now, stupendous fall from grace, emporio armani used to be great **** (til spoo came an ruined it lol),there also used to be a giorgio armani classico line and the black label used have the milan address on it like a burgunvo or something like that. It is made by vestimenta anyway quality, but nothing spectacular

Yup, I am no Armani fan thats for sure. I used to be about 10 or so years ago but now get my sartorial kicks elsewhere.

When I discovered I liked suits, I realized I did not like Armani suits in any shape of form.

I also remember the "Mani" sub label whatever it was - licensed crap I presume.

I believe he was being sarcastic.

I haven't been thrifting very much - I think my wife is about to give me an ultimatum. I have however, been able to finally wear some winter clothes I've stockpiled. It was in the high 50's and windy in Miami Beach.

BB SC
BB Shirt
Lands End silk knit tie
Club Room Cashmere sweater :embar:
Pringle Pants
French Shriner oldschool wingtips (things weigh like 5 lbs)

All personally thrifted. I think the total was close to $30

Not clothing related, but I found a cool John Wayne doll

NO! Not a doll! John Wayne is an action figure! Never a doll!!!!!!!!!!

St. Andrews FTW!!! I want one, too!

Then I found this, and I need to research if it's worth flipping. Anyone know anything about these? Serial number is G0800456.

I also found two Oxxford SCs, but their buttoning point was so low, it was freaky. Almost like they were shortened after the fact. One fit fairly well, but again, it looked very strange.

Ahhh man, I passed a Singer from the 50's with the original certificate and manual! But it was $50...

Hahaha, I had no idea who Rorschach was and at first thought it was a member's username. Wikipedia to the rescue and you're right!
Great look! That pea coat fits you really well and I wish the one I found would have fit me as well as yours does.

Oh man, have you seen the movie or read the comics? Cold war era super heroes/vigilante FTW!!!

1. Giogio Armani (black background white lettering)
2. Giorgio Armani (White background black lettering)
3. Armani Collezioni
4. Emporio Armani
5. Armani Jeans
There are some other lines from a while ago, i.e. Prive, Classico etc and both I believe are higher than what is considered black label.
The one you got is somewhere between Collezioni and black label, Armani white label as I call it. Quality so so and I have not seen anything from this line that was markedly superior to Collezioni.
A/X is not an Armani brand hence why I missed it.

+1

LOL Super over the top! Ain't it!? Yeah, I was being over the top for Halloween. This is not my costume. It's my Xmas outfit. I just wish the damn lapel weren't so damn wide! HF give me wings!!!
