There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I once found a CKC item (womens jacket, so I didn't buy it) and it said "Vestimenta" right on the content tag.

Please do! I am a madras freak. I have madras shorts, pants, hoping for a deal on a madras SC to come through too. My pride and joy is a PRL madras harrington I found last fall that I never got a chance to wear before the snows came. And now spring is here at last... :nodding:

Another find from today's quick run after work. Dunhill carry-on bag. Made in Italy. Really thick pebbled grain leather. One of the shoulder strap hooks was strangely missing, having been cleanly removed. No worries though, still quite functional.

Whoa, talk about a humble brag.

    :fistbump:

Today was slow. Found this pair of Aldens in an 11 B (available). Also, if anyone has a need for boy's clothing (ages 2-4 years old), let me know. Picked up a bunch of high-end Euro boutique clothing (Papo d' Anjo, Petit Bateau, Jacadi Paris, etc) in those sizes.

Popped a bunch of cherries the last couple days.

First, anyone recognize this tag? Found it on a cool pair of pants.

This is my second huge haul of Corneliani for PRL pants. This time it was 9 pairs, in black, tan, gray, and a sweet wool/cashmere windowpane check. All double pleated and 38 waist.

I got REALLY lucky on this one. Didn't recognize the label but I picked it up for the nice LP cashmere/wool fabric. Turns out it was made by ISAIA, and its minty with all the pockets sewn shut. Blue windowpane check.

Saw this tag inside the jacket....what does it say?

    Flip it over....

Unfortunately its a weird jacket. Looks like a tux, DB with peak lapels, unvented, etc. But the lapels are self-faced and the buttons are plastic. Still stoked on my first Kiton.

Fortunately there was some more traditional formalwear in the store.

Bijan tux in perfect condition. Wool/mohair blend with satin peak lapels, DB, satin covered buttons, unvented. Beautiful.

I have recently moved to Orlando, and the thrifts here are some of the driest I have ever seen, nothing like Oregon. It doesn't help that my thrifting protégé sent me a picture of his latest finds from the goodwill by my old house.

I think with larger cities you have to contend with more flippers.
Same here in NY, never anything decent, grabbed up, gotta go all the time.

I live a couple hours south of Orlando, and admittedly I don't know the landscape up there at all. I've thrifted in all of South FL from Miami to Palm Beach, and then Naples and Tampa, but never Orlando. I'll be interested in seeing what you come up with.

I guess I won't add thrifting to my list of things to do when I visit Orlando for a triathlon in February...

I like it (the painting), but what do I know.

Couple of brags. Still picking up shoes and ties.
    Little shoes:
Allen Edmonds Sanfords, nice walnut (I think) color. Some wear on the soles, but still a long way from resoling.

Two ties this morning, BB Makers, and a PRL black and white plaid. I would have loved for it to have a subtle purple or blue overstripe, just to break things up a bit, but at least now I'm prepared if I get invited to the right kind of wedding.
    [IMG] [IMG]

I passed on a suit that said it was made by Zegna (in Italy, not Switzerland) for Bachrach. Not just that it was Zegna fabric that someone else made up for Bachrach. Is this right? Zegna actually makes stuff to sell at Bachrach? And if so, to what level do you suppose they make them? It seemed decently well made, I'd have picked it up if it were my size, but did't assume anyone would want it here. Did I make a mistake?

Here are some of the things I've found over the last couple of months that I'm either keeping for myself, or have already found themselves a new owner.

    Golden Bear coat
    [IMG]

    a thick vintage sweater
    [IMG]

a Pringle cashmere long sleeve polo
    [IMG]

Gant by Michael Bastian & Rugger shirts
    [IMG]

    Brooks Brothers Linen Sport Coat
    [IMG]

Vintage Sears corduroy coat - Doesn't look old enough to be worth anything, but I'm still trying to date it. I'm thinking the look this fits into will be popular again soon.

Arcando Loafers - Practically no info on them, aside from a couple mentions on SF. Italian bespoke maker that is apparently no longer in business.

    A. Testoni Monks
    [IMG]

Crockett and Jones PTBs - Look like Buffalo to me
    [IMG]

    Ralph Lauren Purple Label Sandals
    [IMG]

    Vintage Florsheim Imperials
    [IMG]

Two of the more colorful ties
