Im just going through the haul now and Im convinced these were samples from Trafalgar. They are all size 36, each and every one - with the exception of like 8 of them, which are a 36 but have removable buckles so you can make any size smaller, and about 4 that are size 42.

On another note, my office is pungent with the sweet smell of leather. mmmmm

Oh man, I would of totally koped under $30. Maybe HF will pay big $ to buy back their vintage stuff for their museum.
Doubtful considering their parent company just filed for bankruptcy, BUT it would do well on ebay/aaac/etsy/etc

    Question:

Several (3-4) Hickey Freeman "Bespoke" dated 1999 in neutral colors, patches above the inside right jacket pocket with the customers initials, match the tag. Good for a flip at 25$???

Never had any luck with Hickey Freeman yet, so I'm concerned about sailing into uncharted waters.

What's the opinion here on Faconnable and Breuer ties? Found these ties yesterday at a local place and I'm still relatively new to SF.

I saw the black leather strap peeking from one of the "new arrival blue bins" at my goodwill this afternoon. I resisted the urge to push a lady out of the way, but instead waited for her to finish inspecting a hat which was in the very same bin... She left the hat and I scored.

Admire all of you that are hitting the thrifts today and tomorrow. Here's hoping that the halloweiners take all of the JAB suits and SC's. Some finds from the latter part of this week:

NWT Ike Behar wine colored tie. Not a multifold, but I like how there is silk throughout. None of that lining stuff. Available:

Pink shirt. Really thin fabric and it fits, but will need the treatment. N/A

Chester Barrie orphan. Tagged 46L. However, no pants :fu: . Searched everywhere and came up empty :brick: . Canvassed. Pure English goodness. I may have to hit this store more often in the next couple of weeks to see if they turn up. Available.

Wow! I found a leather Tumi Alpha briefcase and have gotten lots of use out of it. It's replaced my cooler-looking-but-less-functional Filson 256 briefcase as my daily carry.

    To find one that's NWT...awesome.

    Had a good day.

Found some BB tweed, SCs and a suit plus a PRL (first 2 pics are different jackets):

Picked this up for free, lord and taylor. One of the stores was having a buy 1 SC get 1 free, and the prices were great to boot.

Then I stopped by NM and Off 5th Outlets and picked up these. The Isaia was pretty deeply discounted, and was on sale for 40% off on top of that. The drakes were buried beneath a huge pile, also came at a deal.

Those Drakes are SICK. I wish there was a NM or Marshalls around here. All we have is TJ Maxx chock full of Sean John.

^^ Score on the Paul Stuart pocket square. Even cheap-o pocket squares are rare at the thrifts I go to. Squares from decent makers are practically non-existent.

Nice Drakes and Isaia scores too. The Paul Stuart tie is also made by Drakes, I'm sure you noticed.

Considering the number of stores I visited, findings were practically nonexistent. Came away with a vintage BB Makers cotton plaid tie and my second ever Bills khakis in black, exactly my size.

Found a really good condition Orvis bag today...which I was excited about since the outside and inside looked almost brand new. That is....until I opened one of the pockets and found a tube of prescription fungal cream. Is this bag potentially contaminated with fungus, and if so any way to get rid of it or just toss it to the trash despite its near flawlessness?

Even if you catch the fungus you'll have the cure right there in your bag.
