I was in the area around 3:30-5. Checked out the thrift that yielded your Kiton, didn't see much in my price range. Gorgeous stuff there, though. Never seen so many Samuelsohn or recent Hickey Freeman in one place (other than department store) before.

Agreed on the Hickeys - place was stuffed with 'em. I left two or three Zegnas too that were $$$. Also saw a Brioni they wanted $110 for, but I think the aforementioned guy snagged it while I was thinking about it.

Also, What was the verdict on Armani Collezoni? I left behind a presumably recent unstructured tan with white pinstripe sportcoat. Mistake?

    Secret Santa Update

We had a total of 41 people join in for the first annual Thrift Thread Secret Santa/Hidden Hanukkah/Covert Kwanzaa Gift Exchange[IMG]. I have drawn the names and everyone will receive a PM from me soon. I'm still waiting on two people to get back to me with addresses and I'll send out all of the PMs as soon as I receive them. It was a completely random process. I had a list of all of the usernames on a piece of paper and a bowl of names that my wife drew. I just went down the list and assigned everyone one person.

In the PMs I send out, I'll give you the person's username, real name and address. I'll also include the date by which you should send your gift and any information that your person included. I will just copy and paste exactly what the person sent me, I won't try to interpret their ideas, that's up to you :D

I wanted to thank everyone for being so prompt with PMs. I was getting PMs faster than I could keep up, so I apologize if you received the same info more than once.

If, by some chance, the two I'm waiting on decide to opt out of the gift exchange or I don't get the info by tomorrow night (my time), I'll just re-draw the names and send out the PMs.

    Thanks again!

I realize this, now. I plan to go back, so it's all good. :)

In other news, my Goodwill recently set aside a special rack for overcoats and other outerwear items for winter.

In the place of hanging tags, they have Sharpied the prices on the labels inside the coats. Is anyone elses' Goodwill doing this?
