1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    +1!!

The difference between those two GTX Pro or regular GTX. Both are outstanding.

I got just a shadow of the rush I felt the first time I saw that label in an item in the field. Anyone who says this hobby isn't addictive underestimates the power of norepinephrine. Same reason athletes get addicted to their sport, and get so cranky when they haven't worked out in a while.

I was also out in the field. Details in about 30 minutes....

It's no Marantz, but I've been looking for a receiver for a long time. 1975 Onkyo. Will do until something better comes along:

^^ Nice score and looks to be in amazing shape! Finding a receiver of that age in that condition with all the lights working is quite the achievement!

Thanks! I have a really hard time finding audio equipment—I suspect its one of the biggest targets for flippers out there—so scoring something even just semi-decent is an event.

Haha, don't worry, Brianpore already convinced me to go back tomorrow morning. Thankfully, I left when they closed tonight so I know it's still there !

So, I found this (my first time ever) ...

    ...on this...

and got super excited and bought it after I (thought) checked it over, only to get home and find this...

...which made my face do this...

It's awesome enough that I'm going to get it rewoven (flat front pants, side vented, soft shoulder, otherwise pristine...can't be very old at all, which makes the moth holes all the more rage-inducing).

This seems so authentic I just can't tell...

Although this video may be more appropriate for the thread in light of recent events...

Anyways, we're back on track, so keep it up!

I feel your pain, dawg! The only Isaia I've ever coped was also from that line! It was a cashmere blend POW SC with a moth hole the size of a pinky tip, on the lapel which exposed the canvass...[IMG][IMG]

Even if it's a joke, this joke isn't funny anymore.

WHERE DAT "DO YOU EVEN THRIFT BRO" MEME WITH FRENCHY IN IT AT!?! So here's my little tale. The fam wanted to head south, enjoy a nice sunny (if cold) day on the beach, fly our brand new T-Rex kite, and grab some tasty vittles at a favorite burger spot. I was only too happy to oblige, since it's right near a very awesome (if also supremely expensive) store I (and every other thrifter on the East Coast) like to frequent. Day at beach had. Kite flown. Meal eaten. Ok, momma, your turn with kiddies. It's Daddy time. The key with this store is to not get furious with the prices of the stuff that gets caught by the stasi -- like the $150+ Zegna orphans, $175 licensed Burberry or $300 Versace couture suit (and that was HALF price). And instead focus on the stuff that slips through. First time in well over a year I've seen a decent shirt at less than $10. Nothing special, but a decent pickup.

Couple of ties? That'll set you back well over two Jacksons. [IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]
Crushingly fast pass through the suit/SC rack trying to sift through the massively overpriced stuff yielded these gems. Still pricey by our standards, but they fit (er, ish. 41R for the most part. Which may motivate me to lose a tad more, particularly in the gut region) [IMG]
[IMG][IMG] Tagged EU48r, but there's no way that's right, because it fits my shoulders just fine, and nearly buttons on me. Again, I'd say this is 41R US.
    EFF YOU [IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]
    I SAID EFF YOU! [IMG]
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Why, there, now that's a nice pair of boots. [IMG]
[IMG] (Made in Mexico, though. Does this mean I made a mistake? Genuine ask. Forget Ebay; that's sometimes screwy. I'm talking quality. Are Frye made in Mexico poor quality? These seem hardly used. [IMG]
I never, ever, ever pick up Dior. [IMG]
'Cmon. Even I know not to leave this behind. [IMG][IMG]
And there she is, gents. Hope for more time to get out later this week.

    Take your pick, bro!

Hmmmmm, is it me or does the stitching around the Dior tag looks questionable...I mean, the good Dior tags I've seen didn't have so many damn stitches...Anyone? [IMG]
