I'm just loving the f-word today. No particular reason.
I wouldn't call it "interesting."
One of the stores I go to makes you take the hangers off everything before going to the register, and leave them on the racks. It really pisses me off when people are standing in line but are too lazy to remove the hangers before reaching the checkout. I waste so much time waiting for the clerk to do it, it's really just inconsiderate
Are these worth picking up? 35 each. I'd get them for sure if they were 50% off. Both huge and old but in perfect condition. Thinking its the same guy I got the brioni from.
Isaia and canali
Love this jacket! Nice find!
Great chatting with ya! Pity that store sucked today, though. Ended up with nothing after hanging around for a few hours. As you could probably tell, SF member Beck was a little bored with the new arrival racks packed with Merona.
I did manage to find a couple pair of Bills M2 flat fronts to make the gas money back. Both are available. Both are 36x31. Light are marked 36 and dark are marked 37.

Chill, dude. That said, I would hate to be on the other end of the intercom when you're coming through the drive-through. The world is not your servant, nor are minimum-wage thrift-shop employees there to do everything just-exactly-perfect as you might want or demand. And, yes, it is a raw nerve--as I said previously, it's a pain in the ass to be held up in line because folks with groaning carts think that it is someone else's job to deal with hangers. Think about it: You're getting a $300 tie for less than $5 and you can't be bothered to remove the freakin' hanger yourself because you think it's someone else's job. You weep for yourself and you curse the thrift store. You have that luxury. You have that luxury of not knowing what I know, that the clerk's disregard for protocol in removing tie from hanger probably saved time. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves ties. You don't want the truth, but you want the tie.
Picked up a few coats today:
Polo Ralph Lauren made in Italy hacking jacket. 3/2 roll, ticket pocket. Tagged large.
Harris tweed, odd color. Hopefully make a few ebay bucks.
Hell yeah! Isaia at least for sure.
Big shout outs to 330CK for hooking me up with 3 lady's watches (for my girl), a BB vintage blazer with horse hair canvas, and a bonus jacket!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reason I know the BB has horse hair canvas is because I pulled out about 3 strands that were poking out of the fabric. Super awesome guy!!!
I could never even think about wearing something like that, but damn if it isn't amazing to look at.
Isn't "odd color" the entire point of harris tweed? Looking at mine, I have a light blue/natural herringbone, one that really can't be defined as any particular color, with yellow/white/blue/black/rust repeating for the warp, and a denimish blue for the weft (same blue used in the warp), and one that's really best defined as a dark purple. If you get a harris tweed jacket in a conventional color, you're doing it wrong.
